Old world charming hotel at a great price in a great location. I stay here every summer. The staff is very helpful and courteous. I never ate in their restaurant, so I cannot comment on that. I always enjoy my stay.

The location of the hotel, right near the great synagogue, easy and manageable transportation, and many reasonably priced and good restaurants. The hotel was clean and the staff was lovely. I was traveling solo and felt very safe in the area and at the hotel.

The bus collects guests from different addresses, so it could take 60 minutes. The price is 2500-3000 HUF per person. The public transport is easy, early Morning it takes 60-70 minutes for 3EUR per person.

Hi, It is safe to change at the street exchange offices, they offer the best rates. The only thing you should pay attention is that often they offer a high rate what is valid only if you change more than 1000 EUR/USD..., for smaller amount you get a bad rate.
I recommend you to ask the receptionist/concierge to show you the best cash points. Banks are always correct , they offer a slighly lower rate. If you change a small amount, the receptionist can do it also.
The hotel can organize taxi transfer from and to the airport. From the airport, approximately 30EUR, to the airport 25 EUR. The ride takes 30 minutes.
