The pension is very nice and warm (important considering it's -7° outside). Staff is super friendly, our room was big and had lots of natural light coming through the skylights. Breakfast was pretty good, with cold cuts, cheese, cereal, yogurt, bread.. It's very close to the tram stop, and ~15 minute walk to the bus stop that goes direct into...

I recently spent almost a week in Budapest and stayed at the Hotel Abel Pension. My bed was clean and comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights last week and were very comfortable there. Although it's some distance from the city centre, the public transport is fantastic, with a frequent tram service passing within 5 minutes walk of the guesthouse. This is a nice spot on a quiet street. Very simple accommodations, very clean. We were able to stay in the sitting area waiting for our train on our last day instead of having to wait in the cold train station, which was very nice. The young hostesses are amazing and so helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Convenient location, quite street, I arrived very late 1:00 am and was received kindly. A good simple room. The bed could use a topper - which is my only complaint. The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. Breakfast was very good.
