Let me start my review by acknowledging the hotel staff for their attention to details. Our famly of 4 checked out on my birthday. On checking out I was give a box of chocolates as a birthday present. Someone must have noticed my birthdate when entering my passport information. Most of us are lucky if our family remembers our birthday, let alone hotel staff!

Now own to the lodging. We stayed in a 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bathroom condo. The bedrooms are large. The living room is large and the kitchen is compact. Others pointed out there is a washing machine but no dryer. If one asks at the front desk they will give you the code to the laundry room, where dryers are available. The room is very clean. The beds are comfortable. The temperature was perfect.

The location of the hotel was a bit further from the Christmas Markets than we would have like, but one can't have everything. It was worth the 30 minute walk (or short metro ride) to have space for our family of 4 to spread out. Plus, the hotel is located in a very quiet neighborhood. We all slept very very well, with no disturbances.

The hotel arranged for a taxi pickup to the airport the night prior to our check out.

We highly recommend the Adina Apartment Hotel.

Very good apartment, big and comfortable. Greate location!
In the apartment you will find a full kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine.
The location is in a walking distance to Margitthe WestEnd shoping center and more, and you can take a taxi very easily to all other places you want to visit.

Lovely apartment and helpful staff. Pitty that due to the pandemic only those who are vaccinated can use certain spaces like gym and swimming pool but that is out of the Adina's control.
The hotel is in a great location with regards to supermarkets and shops and it was easy going to the surrounding areas and centre of the city either by foot or tram

This hotel is only dog friendly if your dog is under 20 pounds. And even then my friend with an 11 pound dog was harassed because her company was paying for the hotel room and she was paying for the dog fee and it somehow wasn’t noted on her reservation. The maid service is inconsistent. sometimes no bathmat sometimes no hand towels and only some of the rooms have washer dryer combos. Most are only washers and you have to hang dry all your clothes. All my clothes have stretched out from not going in the dryer. I was here for six weeks. And the staff was lovely in the beginning but the longer I was here the less friendly they became. I sadly had to move elsewhere.

We had a mixed experience staying in a studio apartment here. It is more "apartment" than "hotel" in terms of facilities and service. The decor is a little dated but the studio apartment is helpful for longer stays and was quite large for only 2 people.

Here are some positive aspects of the hotel:
- Our room had a small but very well supplied kitchen including an oven, stove, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, dishwasher, teakettle, nespresso machine and cooking/eating utensils. There is a Lidl and an Aldi both within walking distance of the hotel, so shopping and cooking were easy.
- The double bed was comfortable. We had a balcony and could open the entire door to get fresh air. The A/C worked really well.
- Our room also included a work desk and a small (2 person) eating area.
- The hallway closet was large enough to unpack a week's worth of clothes. The bathroom was small and water pressure was ok.

However, the studio room lacked a washer/dryer, a booking oversight on our part. We used the one, communal washer/dryer set on the 1st floor, which is located in a tiny room and has to be shared by all studio guests.
Front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming.
There is a fitness room and indoor (lap) pool, sauna and hot tub.

We did experience some frustrations staying here:
- There were not enough outlets for 2 people to work on computers simultaneously. The hotel should consider installing an outlet by the kitchen table rather than inside a kitchen cabinet(!).
- The wall in the shower was not wide enough, so water sprayed in the rest of bathroom despite our best efforts.
- Housekeeping will come every day. We did not need them every day, yet when they did come they did not replace coffee pods (you have to buy more coffee after Day 1) or dishwashing pods, or refill or replace soap. Our experience is that most long-term stay hotels replace these items. The bathrooms were not cleaned well.
- The biggest frustration is that the internet connection was poor. In our (6th floor) room, we had to be in a certain spot in the room for the wifi to work, and even then, the speed was poor.
- Lastly, the fitness center is not well-maintained. Of the 2 elliptical machines, one rattled tremendously. The rower's chain was loose so it was unusable. The tape on the cable machine attachments is unraveling and the machines are not in great condition. The indoor pool looked wonderful.

So convenient and well priced. A short distance from a train station that takes you into the city (all have lifts) and easy connections to trams. Buy the pass- very cheap- we took the 72 hour one. No need to validate. But it will be checked multiple times so make sure you do have a valid ticket. Quiet, large rooms, full kitchen, washing machine, big bed, daily cleaning. Very efficient staff. We also used the pool ( make sure that you bring slippers to wear in the pool area- outdoor shoes must be removed and slip ons worn) which was immaculate. The spa is very welcome at the end of a day’s sightseeing. Absolutely would stay here again.

Large rooms in a quiet aeria outside the city center in walking distance to the big Westend shopping center. There are many bus stops near the hotel, and if you use the Bolt app you will get a taxi in minutes here. (There is no Uber in Budapest).

Perfect hotel in terms of a good night sleep, clean, well catered, great pool and gym, sauna etc - friendly staff.

Room decor is a little dated and it's not in the centre, but everything is close in Budapest so I don't see an issue.

The rooms all have a small kitchen so you feel completely fine grabbing a takeaway or cooking food (hob / microwave / fridge)

With 3 kids is always a challenge to find an accomodation which suits all of our needs. Like finding the proper size of the room with sufficient number of beds, having a great locatoin and on top it should be affordable.
This hotel met with all of our requiremets. The size of the room was perfect. Even with kids the home office was managable. The kithchen was perfectly eqiupped to be able to make our meal. The pool and fitness section helped to relay or to have fun in house! I can only recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It was perfect for our four night city break. Our room was huge, really spacious and clean. The staff were always friendly and happy to always help.

We enjoyed using the pool, jacuzzi and the sun beds outside. The area was kept clean and was never too busy.

The location was quiet and we found the hotel wasn't that close to many tourist attractions but there were cheap shops, bars and restaurants nearby. We were happy to walk to places and transport was fairly cheap too.

We're arriving by train. How far is the hotel from Keleti train station?
Answer from Adina Budapest
Budapest, Hungary1 contribution1 helpful vote
Good morning, the train station is not far from the hotel, it is about 5-6 km. You can take the trolley-bus #76 from there to the hotel. If you prefer you can take a taxi but please only choose official taxi company. 10-15 EUR depending on the traffic. Let me know if you need further help. Kind regards, Angela Gergye
