Very cozy and clean. Reasonable prices. Very helpful stuff. They explained me how I can get to the center and they recommend me restaurants and tour guides. Very nice and silent area with a very nice view from my balcony. Comfortable mattress.
This is not a luxury location but a very convenient and confortable one : reservation online, directly at the pension at a very good rate, quick check-in; the location is very quiet (very close to the bus station 8E which goes to the city center, 15 min travel by bus); the rooms are clean (every day cleaning); there are moschito nets so the balcony door can be opened without the fear of getting insects inside; free parking lots inside the garden and in front of the pension, too. If there would be something negative, this would be the toiletries (just soap and toilet paper) and the carpets (recommend droping off them).
Great accommodation. Wonderful staff. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Wonderful nature and environment. Clean air, beautiful nature. Phenomenal for family accommodation and a real vacationGreat breakfast. Free parking. All for a clean ten. Enjoy this accommodation !!!
Pros: clean room and common spaces, free parking in the yard or in front of the guest house, close to bus station (line 8E), 20-25 min to get in the city center by bus, kindness of the personell, air conditioning included in the price (absolutely necessary in the rooms from the attic), great view over the beautiful city, quite surroundings, quality sleep. Cons: old furniture. All in all, I would choose the hotel again if in Budapest. Good value for money!
Very peaceful location with free parking & easy access to the city centre by bus. Room was huge with a good bathroom and cooking facilities were a bonus. Staff very helpful with advice and information about things to do in Budapest. We will stay here again when we return in the warmer weather.
I went to Hungary for a stag do. I was one of a group of 5 men that stayed at this hotel. The location is about a15 min local bus journey from centre of Budapest. It is located at the top of a hill so access for people that are wheelchair bound or have difficulty walking will not be very easy. As for the hotel itself, room we had was big with access to a nice outdoor area direct from the room. Had one bedroom, bathroom, large living/dinning Space and kitchenette. We chose one morning to go for the breakfast served at the hotel each morning. What a mistake that was! It was cold tinned sausages, cold but of bacon and cold scrambled eggs. It was disgusting. We refused to eat it and cancelled our breakfast. Overall though our stay was nice. I would use this hotel again, just definitely avoid the breakfast.…
We stayed here for one night. The room is very spacious and clean. The staff is very nice and helpful, especially Thomas who was very friendly and helped us ordering the food at the hotel. The hotel is pretty far from the city center, but you can get the bus 8E. You have a parking place which is a big problem in Budapest. If you are looking to go outside the hotel and eat it is a bit difficult because the restaurants are like 2km away and some of them are closed during the week. Overall was a nice accommodation booked last minute.
The hotel is located in the green suburbs a little away from the centre of Budapest. Free parking is available but also very good public transport links. On arrival we were greeted by the receptionist who did and excellent job of welcoming us and giving us all the information required for our stay: local shops, bus routes, restaurants, tourist attractions etc.. all the staff encountered were excellent and couldn’t do enough to help. The rooms are a little basic and could do with a little modernisation in areas, but you get what you pay for, they are clean and have everything you need. We had a fridge so we’re able to top up with essentials. We had a shower in our room but no shower curtain, I believe this was deliberate as it was a wet room floor but was a little annoying paddling through water to get to the toilet. (Not a deal breaker but perhaps something to think about when renovating) Air conditioning was extra, however we found it wasn’t needed as it was cooler than normal and as the neighbourhood is so quiet we were able to sleep with windows wide open.…
Very nice little hotel in Buda part, in a green and silent area, but still close to downtown, around 20 minutes driving. The room was nice, with a beautiful view overlooking the city and with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a terrace, fridge, TV, wifi. The breakfast for only 6 euros (if you add it at reception, you have to pay it only by cash) is a gem, you can choose from a large variety of options and a very good coffee. For the travellers by car, you can park for free, no problem. A special mention i have to do for the hotel staff, they answered me fast by email before my arrival and during the stay they were very helpfull regarding advices for transport and things to do in beautiful Budapest. Thank you / koszonom Szilvia and Thomas from reception! The Helios Apartman is a bargain when you stay in Budapest, there is a very good value for money, i fully recommend it!…
Mostly I agree with other comments. Staff,Cleanliness, big apartment A4,parking lot,Everything was OK, Its little bit a far from center but 8E bus is very frequent. I really think its value for money but I think its not 3 star hotel. For short staying I think its the one of the best solution.
