Good sized room, VERY comfortable bed, quiet. Great service, friendly & helpful staff, nothing was too much to ask. Fantastic value, quiet location. so many wonderful places to eat, surprised I did not gain 1 kg / day. I will definitely preference this as my favourite Budapest hotel.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The rooms are small and there is some noise from adjacent rooms - the only downside of an otherwise nice hotel. The location is good, 10 minutes from the Danube by foot, and near main roads. Lots of local bars/cafes/ice cream parlours - so we enjoyed walking in the vicinity. Breakfast was great! Staff... Basic hotel. Clean. Air conditioned rooms. Polite staff. Hummus bar/restaurant is ok. Cafè and newsagent type shop opposite. Closest metro station is Corvin-Negyed. No #2 team runs just past the hotel at Boraros Ter. Location wise; just out of town...

Rooms too small for more than one night. Floors in rooms a bit dusty. We asked for an upgrade for our third and last night. Well work the extra cost, The hotel is dated but I understand they are in the process of updating it. Its a good 30 to 40 minutes walk from the main tourist area. There are... More

“Hummus is sexy” proclaims the poster on the side of the Leonardo hotel. I have news for the management. It isn’t. This is a perfectly acceptable midrange hotel out of the city centre, but near enough to walk or get there inside 15 minutes with a tram or metro. The main clientele appear to be package tourists staying for a... More

First of all, the location of the hotel is not in the centre. It's about a 35 minute walk to the main street downtown. Upon check in, we were given a room right at the start of the hall, so it was really loud considering you can hear EVERYTHING in the suite next to you because the walls are paper... More

The facilities were clean and the wifi was free and had a good connection. The lobby was quite large and spacious as well were the rooms. I'd recommend getting a superior room rather than the basic as the basic has a much smaller space / older shower. The ac didnt cool the room, instead it acted like a fan instead.

I have stayed in this hotel several times, but never got down to writing a review. The rooms are spacious and very clean with all the amenities that you need in a room. Rates are reasonable, and definitely value for money. The breakfast caters for all categories of people. And is very good. The staff are very efficient and extremely... More

The hotel is as other has described a bit dated. But the location is great for budget travelers. On the Tompa Uta there are several restaurants and bars that has simple meals such as hamburgers/fajitas, etc for 1000-1500 FT and pint of beer for 300 FT. Walking distance (650m) to the Corvin Negyed metro station where you can buy public... More
