Venue is okay, very basic but a decent stay. A little dusty in places but didn’t stay there much. Convenient place in Buda for getting to the Peat side and close-ish to the Gellert Spa/Baths location. I wouldn’t stay here again but as part of a package it was okay for what we paid.

Just had 3 nights at this hotel check in was quick and easy by Shandor at reception who was a very friendly guy and helpful with local information. ROOM was very spacious spotlessly clean with a sofa and comfy chairs and a mini bar in the room ,tea and coffee was also supplied and their was clean towels every day only downside was the traffic noise from a busy road outside. BREAKFAST was fine cereals ,yogurts, pastries ,etc cold meats and cheeses and a hot choice of scrambled eggs and sausages .BAR great selection of drinks in a very comfy bar area and great prices for a hotel, their is also an outside terrace area to sit .LOCATION you are a good 30 minute walk away from Pest itself but you have a bus and tram stop literally 100 yards from the hotel and a 24 ticket only costs about 4 euros and you can hop on and off whenever you want so great value .All in all nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff .

Rooms: clean but old. Way too hot because the aircondition did not work. A lot of noise because of the trafic outside. It was almost impossible to fall asleep because of this. At trustpilot there were a lot of complaines about the temperature in the rooms wich was written in 2017, 2019 and 2020. Every time the hotel has written that the problem has been solved. But apparently the aircondition is still not working after 5 years of complaines. Service: we did not get a lot of information about our stay. When we were leaving we were told that we had to pay taxes, which was the first time it was mentioned. 500 HFI pr. person pr. night. Felt kind of untrustworthy. Facilities: there was a spa and a sauna (wich was not included in the price). We did not use this. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel either, therefore we have no comment. Not Even close to a 4 stars hotel in our view. We are not visiting again.

The staff in this hotel were really lovely, it was quite dated but spotlessly clean. Beds are ok but pillows are very thin. Breakfast was ample and always fresh bread. Tips: You have to give them an hours notice to use the spa facilities. Also the tram stop is literally 1 minute walk from the hotel where we purchased a 72 hour pass that covered all trams, buses and metro. Very easy to get a tram into town. We were recommended the restaurant up the road for lunch when we arrived, food was ok but staff were unfriendly.

Comfortable, nicely decorated, and clean rooms. Good service. We used this hotel for both business or private trips. The wellness section is available for only one room at a time, making it a really relaxing and private experience.

This hotel was part of a visit hungary gift including flights and accommodation. We weren't expecting that much, BUT this hotel is simply amazing. Everything is meticulously cleaned. There is a fabulous sauna / jacuzzi in the basement for a small charge, very well worth it. The food is great. Superb choice for breakfast. The room had no dirt anywhere and everything worked perfectly. I would like to say a personal thank you to the lady with blonde hair working at reception who assisted us with all our problems successfully. She knows who she is I'm sure. I would love to come back to Budapest and this is where I'll stay. Thank you all at Hotel Mediterran!!!!

Stayed here for 4 nights with my mom and sister for a city break. On arrival we were greeted and quickly checked in. We were on the fifth floor. You have to get the lift to the fourth floor and then walk a flight of stairs to the fifth. We didn’t find this a problem. The room was very clean and tidy the beds were very comfortable and the room cleaned daily. The breakfast was basic but enough to keep you satisfied. Fruit, cereal, scrambled and boiled eggs etc. The bread was lovely and fresh. We needed advice regarding bus routes etc and the people on the desk were so helpful and polite. We felt so comfortable at this hotel. We had a lovely stay and couldn’t fault the place at all. I would definitely return. Thank you for a lovely stay

Hotel was an amazing place to stay, great location and polite, helpful staff. Rooms were clean and spacious and were cleaned daily which was great. Hairdryer also provided in the room, along with a safe and very spacious wardrobe. Bar prices were reasonable and mini fridge was always stocked and priced reasonably too. Staff spoke perfect English so communication was very easy whilst staying there. Main transport route outside hotel so can catch trams to most destinations easily. Would definitely recommend staying here!
