Perfect. The room is nice and clean. It is close to the Keleti and all the most important places. Next to it there are many fast food restaurants and 024 shops. The receptionists are kind and helpful. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious.

Refused to give us back our room deposits (20000 huf per room) due to being too noisy and apparently causing 2 rooms to check out - we were only in our rooms for 6 hours max a day for 4 days. We had no first or final warnings and was surprised about this on checkout. Also the rooms are like a sauna and the road outside sounds like an F1 race/world cup final/d day beach landings all rolled into one. And unless you enjoy pepperoni sandwiches for breakfast, don't bother rushing out of bed. Oh and bring your walking boots cos it's a good half hour wander to any decent boozers.

Responded 1 week ago
Dear Valued Guest, Thank you very much for staying in our hotel and for your feedback. We would like to kindly inform you that upon arrival our Guests has to fill in a check in form which includes the house rules as well. When your group arrived you also read and signed this document. The general house rules includes the following request from every Guests: „In the interest of other hotel guests and our valued neighbours, please make sure to keep the noise down at a moderate level in all rooms, in the corridors and in our courtyard between 22:00 and 8:00. Please be informed, that the security or front desk staff may remind you of this rule if the situation requires. If this situation persists, the hotel may withhold the deposit or deposit of you or your group.” During your stay unfortunately we had several complaint from other Guest. We asked you more than one time to be a little bit more quiet because our other Guest could not rest. As the noise was still continued we did not have a choice but hold your deposit back. We are sorry for the inconveniences what it may caused and thank you for your kind understanding we do hope you had a nice time in Budapest. With best regards, Szabina Lados Front Office Manager

Ok,,,,let's just a few myths here. It's true you get what you pay for and for a three star this is a perfectly decent option. People have been moaning about the noise and I can that is nonsense as this a very quiet hotel. I a. very sensitive to external noise in hotels and I had no issues at all. Reception staff are friendly and speak good English. We had a n issue with a faulty heater that turned our room into as sauna during the day and there was no hesitation when we asked to move rooms which impressed me. The rooms are decent sizes and critically very clean with decent sized bathrooms with plenty of hot water. Breakfast is basic with only scrambled eggs and bangers as the hot option but tons of bred, ham and cheese to fill up on. If there is a school parry in you might have to sit in the reception area to eat but hardly a massive hardship. This hotel is right next to main station and metro station with a bus stop outside. All in all a decent experience for the price and I would have no hesitation to stay here again.

I would avoid this hotel it is a long walk into centre also it is only half hotel half private residence, the noise levels were totally unacceptable going on late into the night with party’s in the private residence part and the noise echoing rite through the hotel part , totally unacceptable. on the plus side the staff are extremely helpful and can’t do enough for u. Very disappointed and won’t book this hotel again.

good hotel; great position- right in front of the train station; metro stop 20 metres from htl.. very proffessional, freindly and helpful staff; good breakfast.: varierity of sweet and savoury foods. good quality for your money. However, I didn't feel safe returning to the hotel late at night as there is a bar next to the htl entrance where there were heavy drinkers.
