This is a city which oozes history and intrigue. This is a hotel with a commercial past, renovated, sitting across from the historic Chain Bridge in the capital city of former Austria - Hungary empire. It is a lovely hotel with class and style but without being pretentious. We loved the bars, restaurants, rooms and especially the spa.
Hotel's lobby is so beautiful. We had Gresham room, it was big enough for our family. We really liked our very soft bathrobes and slippers. Our 11 years old had bedsheets with dinosaurs and he was a little dissapointed as he is already a big boy. Minibar did not have pricelist. Expected to have a little surprise in the room to welcome us. Kids got a very lovely surprise(cookies and Minion marzipans). Spa area was disappointing because we expected to have a nice view. Bed was not comfortable enough. Bedsheets and linens were luxurious.
The Four Seasons Budapest brings back a taste of the Golden Age of travel - now long since past. Excellent rooms in a landmark building with a superlative staff. Whether one chooses it for the amazing art nouveau architecture or its central location with some of the most iconic views of Buda across the Danube you will not be disappointed in the least. I genuinely look forward to revisiting this hotel. I was here during the latter days of COVID and it was still among the best hotel experiences I have had. I can only imagine what it's like when everything that it has to offer is finally available.
When an Hotel turns to be the best Santa Chef! We wanted to book the Xmas 25/12 brunch at the hotel, but the pandemic situation forbid us to do so. So, we were offered to order this amazing Christmas package which was delivered to our home door in a very qualitative wooden box. The huge turkey was hot and juicy and served with portioned grilled veggies, mask potatoes, chestnuts, forest mushrooms, green beans, ... with gravy and cranberries jam jars and a delicious apple/pear tart. It was a just marvellous and can't wait next Xmas! By the way Merry Xams Chef and your brigade!
Was here for one night (for work), with some colleagues. Wished the stay had been longer. This is a beautiful property, from the moment you pull up outside to entering the bedroom. I had a pretty standard room, but even that was very spacious and comfortable. Loved the high ceilings. Used the pool and sauna area - very relaxing, clean, and comfortable. Ate both lunch and dinner in the main restaurant on the ground floor - cheery and obliging service, and good food. Would like to come back here for a leisure stay at some point..
