This is hands down one of the most beautiful hotels. The name says palace and that is exactly the frel of the hotel, a quaint palace. You will want to stay in this palace. I visited in September and I can imagine this being absolutely stunning in the winter. The interior design is absolutely stunning, the colours are warm and give a very welcoming feel. The food options in in the hotel are very good, the lounge offered sushi / asian cuisine and the restaurant offered international cuisine. The restaurant is a place I could pop into for a bite even if I were not a guest at the hotel. The spa has a swimming pool, massage rooms, gym and the facilities were of good quality and clean. The only down side of the hotel is the twin beds are u usually narrow and the rooms with king beds did not appear to be of comparable size to the twin bed rooms. I could not see myself staying any place else in Budapest, which in itself is one of the most beautiful cities.…
The highest standards and delivery in this grand hotel from the doorman to the breakfast experience to the rooms themselves- everything was beyond expectations. The complete care and attention to detail was exceptional
Me and my girlfriend have celebrated our 5th anniversary in the spa of the hotel and...we have no words to describe how amazing it was! The place was almost empty and we could relax and enjoy every pool, sauna, steam room, etc There is some free juice and nuts included in the ticket price. The best part of the experience?? THE STAFF! A very big thanks to all the staff and especially to BELLA, she has been super kind, friendly, smiley and she really took care of us and made our day just unforgettable! Thank you very much Bella and thank you very much Four Season! Simply the best spa experience ever tried! SEE YOU SOON! Alex & Eszter
I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a clean, luxurious, friendly hotel that is well situated in a beautiful historical building. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the dinner selection was very good- our meal and wine was outstanding.
We have been very lucky to travel the world for business and pleasure and have stayed at many Four Seasons Hotels. We have never been to Budapest and the hotel and the city were absolutely amazing. This si all about the Four Seasons. I first emailed the hotel at 3am Budapest time about 4 months ago, I got a call back within 15 minutes from Marko the Night Manager and we talked for about 30 minutes At that moment I just knew this was going to be an amazing place and it was. From the Front Desk to Concierge's Balazs and David, the service was amazing and the staff was so willing to help. The same was true from Room Service and Housekeeping. The cocktail bar is one of the best in the world and wait staff there were so fun and informative. We had a great time. All Food and Beverage staff were absolute tops. Federico the GM and Yves the Regional VP have Budapest running as a top Four Seasons Hotel anywhere in the world. Its rival might be Florence but that is a different kind of place. This is truly one spectacular place and if the chance is yours to visit Budapest and the Four Seasons DO IT! you will not be disappointed in any way. The side tours we set up with the Concierge were spot on, Marko the Front Desk Manager was incredible. This may seem like a ton of hyperbole but it is not. Many Thanks to the entire Four Seasons Budapest for the perfection and friendliness that you extended to us!…
We had a river view suite with balcony, although I would say it was closer to a junior suite because the living room and bedroom were together, the toilet was not private and there was only one sink and a smaller bathtub and shower than you'd expect for a suite. It was adjoining but not interconnecting to a deluxe room with 2 beds where the kids were placed and the 2 rooms were behind a privacy door. We were lucky the weather report for the previous weekend was in error, because we had a front row seat to the fireworks that Saturday night. Our balcony gives a great view of the river from the parliament through the famous churches across the river in Buda. The hotel's breakfast buffet is great; try the nutella pastry. The bees love it! They also put out some nice salads and smoothies. Dinner here was also rather good. The concierges here are a strong point of the hotel; they help set you up prearrival and are on duty till around 11pm, but they take a large markup on things such as cars with drivers. Good if you can arrange your own. Uber doesn't work here and taxis are not always plentiful, but there is a taxi stand to the right of the hotel about a block down the street in case the valet doesn't mention it. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and saunas are very good although you need to be an athlete to climb in and out of them. The gym was a sore point for me; I'm used to a better standard at a Four Seasons property and this equipment was a hodgepodge of dated and odd things. It got the job done but it could use a makeover. There is a bathing suit spinner in the very nice dressing areas. I got a spa treatment; the receptionist moved some things around to get me an appointment but I had to insist because otherwise I wasn't going to get an appointment. Guest laundry was done promptly and well done; the hotel gave us a discount for our large orders and this was greatly appreciated by us midway through our 2 week European tour. The elevators are annoyingly slow here. My sense here is that this property was state of the art when it opened nearly 20 years ago but that its amenities haven't been refreshed since it opened. We enjoyed the place but I think this hotel could use a kick in the rear from some competition. We don't know if in this increasingly authoritarian state how private these hotel rooms and internet networks are, but we acted as if the rooms and networks were not totally private.…
This beautifully decorated and appointed hotel exceeds expectations. The place is beautiful and very tastefully decorated all throughout. the staff are courteous and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the restaurant and especially the soaking bathtub!!
Wonderful hotel with exceptional accomodations, food and service. Special shout out to two servers, Adam and Nimesh. So helpful and courteous. We had an amazing stay at Four Seasons. We will stay there again if our travels take us back to Budapest.
Four Seasons is Top of the Bill. From the moment you arrive until the say goodbye The restaurant is very good and we had a great evening. When we left, the hotel driver parked his car at the train station, took our luggage and went with us, all the way until inside the train coach
Wonderful hotel with gorgeous rooms and fantastic service . This time, special shoutout to the cocktail bar and the spa - the deep tissue massage by Kata was to die for, and she is such an engaging company too. Thoroughly recommend.
