We woke up to several black bugs on the carpet and bedding. The hotel staff said it was because we left the doors open, although this was inaccurate, especially given the 39 deg C weather. Later the hotel left a form letter in our room indicating the bugs were safe, but refusing to provide any type of accommodation in view of the horrifying experience.
The ultimate of hospitality on the Danube River! All the staff showed courtesy with a smile. Special requests are honored in a timely fashion. Restaurant can be ala carte or buffet for breakfast and lunch and dinner offered. Can’t say enough about the concierge staff, especially Peter, who guided us through an airline reservation after our flight was canceled. He gave us peace of mind and was extremely patient. The spa with salon, fitness room and swimming pool are available for a moderate charge. Surely, the Four Seasons is one of the best hotels in Budapest.
I don't normally stay in such fancy hotels, but we had been advised that this would be worth it. Oh my, Yes! All of the people were so nice and helpful. The room was lovely and spacious (relatively speaking.) The dining was wonderful, with a delicious and vast breakfast buffet. Although not included with the room rate, we chose to have that most mornings. The Concierge was exceptionally helpful. Best of all, it is a 5-10 minute walk from the Parliament building and St. Stephens. We would stay again if in Budapest.
The most highly recommended hotel ever in Budapest! Perfect location, amazing facilities, kind and professional staff, wonderful entertainment places, 24/7 perfect service from all kind and absolutely unforgettable experience!!!!
As always, we had the best hotel experience at the Gresham. We had a large wedding crowd, all taken care of and happy. The beauty of this building is just overwhelming. The service, the food, the spa our room, all top notch. We will be back!
I started planning the trip months ago and called the concierge desk. From that point of contact, I felt that I was receiving great advice, that I was listened to, and that the hotel wanted to ensure that my trip was successful. And their advice for tour guides was perfect. Thank you to the staff.
The hotel property is just beautiful, given that it is within the historic Gresham Palace. It is one of the most special Four Seasons anywhere. The staff, and especially the concierges, are incredibly helpful and professional. It was our second stay at the hotel, and I hope to return again soon.
The staff and attention to details was excellent Any minor hick up was sorted out immediately If you stay in Budapest you must stay in this Hotel Service and standards living up to the Four Seasons brand Management team introduced themselves along the way during our stay which was very nice
We were a group of friends, who had the high afternoon tea, and it was very good and fresh, great service and beautiful surroundings and exclusive atmosphere. It was a big plus, that there was live music of a very good pianist, who also took birthday requests.
Had a lovely and friendly experience at the bar downstairs in the lobby of this stunning hotel. Lili, Attica and Aron made us feel so welcome and can’t wait to one day stay at this amazing hotel. Budapest is a hidden gem and one of the most romantic cities which I think gives Paris a run for its money.
