This hotel is modestly furnished, clean and has a great location. The prices I thought were high for the type of Hotel, though we did have a suite and club access. The club was very nice and the staff in the club was exceptional. WiFi was free in the club but not the room, and the room WiFi was sketchy....

We were only at the Intercontinental for one night but our stay was most enjoyable. Everyone at the front desk was very accomodating. Our room was very comfortable and clean. If you go, please try to get a room facing the river, the view is beautiful. The Chain Bridge and the Castle are both visible out the window. The location...

My family and I stayed here over the past weekend on our family annual Christmas "short break". We had rooms overlooking the Danube, where the views were well worth the extra cost. The Intercontinental was very clean, well maintained, and very, very comfortable. Although we didn't have dinners here, the breakfasts were excellent with a great choice of hot and...

We are return customers at Intercontinental Budapest for over 4 years. As always we have only the best comments! The location is perfect, river view from our room beautiful, the room was spacious enoughf for three of us. My flight was cancelled and was arranged to stay at the Intercontinental Budapest for an extra day. At the front desk I was given a Danube view room and was quite impressed with the guest room and amenities. Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
