Great hotel, impeccable service and staff, and very centrally located. Be sure to get the rooms with the views of the Danube and palace, totally worth it! The best part is the service - whatever you need it's totally taken care of with absolutely no issues (late check out, extensions, everything)

Hotel is near Duna river. I had river view room. Many attractions are just at a walk from the hotel. I would recommend this hotel strongly. The bridge is just nearby to get to the other side of the river...

We had an amazing view to the Danube, Buda Castle and the Chain Bridge. Room was spacious and very very clean, with espresso machine, minibar, full amenities. Staff was friendly and professional, especially the concierges. Compared to other Intercontinentals, this wasn't expensive at all. Location was excellent, walking distance to the main sightseeing spots and shopping streets, and easy to...

Truly my favorite hotel in the world! Located right on the Danube, they offer service that is second to none. Our arranged meal was impeccably served by their wait staff, the breakfast offering is simply fantastic, and the room we were staying in had one of the loveliest views of the Danube. Their front desk staff were ready to assist...

We were a party of 4, including my elderly disabled, parents who had wanted to do something a little different last New Year's Eve (2016/17). The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to the Chain Bridge, not far from some lively Christmas food markets and other hotels, restaurants and attractions such as the river cruise boats. This made...

When we tried to take a shower we realized that the water was dirty yellow. We filled the bath tube and the same. We reported...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
