The main benefits for the hotel for me was its close distance to the places i needed to be. The actual room is a little bit old fashioned and drab looking and the beds wasn't the best. However the service we got was really exceptional from warming up meals out of hours to supplying plug adapters etc Another plus was...

King's Hotel is located in the heart of the Jewish Quarter in central Budapest within easy walking distance of all the main tourist sights you'll want to visit. The room we had wasn't large but was perfectly clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. The bathroom was fine with both a shower and bathtub but water pressure was pretty low....

My husband and I wanted to spend our holidays in Budapest and Vienna. So we took standart rooms through the travel agency: in Budapest it was Kings 3*. I was shocked when we came to our room in Kings hotel(Budapest): dirty floor in the bedroom and bathroom(footprints on the tile), dirty towels. Also I found hair on the bed linens....

Stayed at Kings for three nights in March. Its a basic hotel, but it was clean, the bed was very comfy & the shower was great. Breakfast was ok too. I loved the scrambled egg & the coffee was good. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The hotel is set in the Jewish quarter on the Pest side of...

Stayed here for 3 nights in December whilst visiting the Christmas Markets. Wasn't really expecting much due to the price paid of £80 for 3 nights for 2 people B&B. Room was adequate with a kettle ( we had to buy our own tea & Milk) and en suite. Towels changed daily and beds made up. Wifi free. Breakfast basic...

We booked a double room, but were actually given a triple room - no complaints there as we liked the extra space. The room is basic, clean and tidy. There was air conditioning/heater, which worked well. We were provided with a kettle but no teabags, the mini-bar was standard. The bathroom was exceptionally clean. We were able to get good...

Stayed for 2 nights clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Good location for nightlife and city centre. Real value for money would stay again. Rooms had everything you would need the safe was available at no extra cost and a mini fridge was stocked at reasonable prices.

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
