We thought the hotel was excellent - the room was spcious, modern and had a nice bathroom and view. Everything else in the hotel seemed up to date (e.g. quick, modern, quiet lifts), the gym and spa were small but well equipped, breakfast was really good (wide selection and felt more like a bistro than a hotel breakfast buffet sometimes...

The hotel is first class in everything, and, for its serevices, modestly priced. Great location too. Only problem I could think of was lack of power outlets to charge all the communiccation devices one has to carry these days.

Impeccable service, great design and quality of each room make this a hotel to remember. Highly recommended. Great location in heart of the city, close walking distance to restaurants and shops. Travel time from airport to the hotel is about half an hour.

I decided to try this hotel after a previous trip to Budapest where I had stayed in some nearby serviced apartments and discovered that Nobu restaurant was here. I have been to every Nobo location world wide and this was one of the best I had been in , so logically I thought that if i could judge the hotel...

Good location and large room with seperate seating area and desk with well appointed generously sized bathroom. The public areas are attractive and welcoming but book in advance for Nobu because we missed out (although it was new year's eve). The room was kept spotless throughout our stay staff very willing to assist when asked. We stayed for a week...

For our trip to Budapest, my boyfriend and I chose the Kempinski for our stay. The Corvinus Kempinski hotel in Budapest is a true find and gives a lot of value to the kempinski name. We went to Budapest for the tennis FED CUP tennis tournament. The tennis players and their teams stayed at the Arena hotel next to the SYMA stadium. But the Kempinski hotel is 4 metro stations (M2) away from the stadium...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
