Excellent location to discover Budapest, attentive and personalized service, amazing breakfast, and spacious and spotless rooms. Pool and steam room were perfect way to relax and rest after a day of sightseeing. Concierge staff very knowledgeable and helpful. In the evening a 5 minute walk to the river will fill you with lasting memories of this beautiful city.

Smooth check in got a surprise VIP room upgrade with free high speed Wifi. Room was nice but somehow my request for a king bed was lost in the system. When I asked the hotel informed me they assigned the two twin beds put together unless you requested a king or queen bed. They did offer to switch me to... More

We stayed at the Kempinski two years ago and loved it so it was a natural to stay again this year. Once again the service was impeccable as was our room. We again stayed three nights but wished for a week. I love this location in Budapest as everything is an easy walk and we love to walk. The breakfast... More

Location is great for easy access to the shops, sites, trans etc.... If you are travelling by Public Transport from the airport, its easy to get to but even by Taxi, its approx £20 and takes between 20-30 mins depending on traffic & how eager your taxi driver is :-) The room as very comfortable and the hotel is very... The Kempinski hotel deserves each of its 5 stars. It's well organized with a friendly knowledgeable staff. The room was beautifully furnished and has comfortable beds; also great TV and enough place. Its wonderful bathroom with separate toilet and shower in addition to the sink and bathtub, offers great care products, sufficient towels, etc. Breakfast was excellent and so was... More

The personnel is very welcoming and check in and checkout were quick. Room is of decent size with plush pillows. Free bottled water in the evening. Hotel lobby is big with lots of seating space. Stayed here for three nights. Room was a good size, well appointed with great amenities. It was located only two blocks from Vaci Utca and three from the Danube River. Concierge service was spot on with Restaurant suggestions and reservations. Front desk was able to supply converters for the electricity ( central europe to US type plugs). Internet was included.... I stayed with my husband, he was here for work and we took an extended trip. This is a very nice and posh feeling hotel. Everyone speaks English very well and I believe several other languages. It's located in a high end shopping district, pretty touristy with many restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby. It's also very centrally located (on the... More

Extreme good service, nice large rooms, nice but quite small spa. You can't use the quite small swimming due to kids occupying it with lots of nice. Placed right in the centre it's great for exploring Budapest.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
