We left the hotel and walked right to the bridge, there was a stop there for the sightseeing bus. The hotel staff have leaflets and will help you if required, we bought our tickets from the hotel as they were the cheapest.
We used the local currency, Hungarian Forints, get them before you travel, look at the Martin Lewis Moneysavingexpert site to find the best currency deals.
Have a great time, me and the wife will definitely go back to Budapest and stay at the same hotel.
