Situated on Szechenyi Hill in the 12th district of the beautiful city of Budapest, this hotel offers panoramic views over Budapest which should delight all. I found it to be extremely comfortable for my (2) two day stay. The rooms where of size and infrastructure to my requirement. Staff extremely friendly throughout the hotel.Breakfest was pleasant and quality fresh and satisfied my needs. Take a walk approx. 12 mins down the hill from the hotel and catch the number 59 tram which drops you off at the main train bus tram terminus in Buda. I will return from Australia sooner than later.

Hotel located on the hill, in a chic and quiet area with a magnificent panoramic view over Budapest. Welcome hosts, warm, offers leaflets and information about the place and objectives to visit in Budapest. The rooms are spacious, elegant, clean, worthy of a 3 star rating, rich breakfast, served in an intimate, calm, quiet atmosphere, without too much intersection with the hosts. Location that I recommend it for both transit and for spending beautiful days in Budapest.

Let's face it, this is not a Hilton but still a hotel. List of cons is long, but to keep it short lets mention location (you need a car and it is still difficult to get there), out of style (decorated and renovated last time during the cold War) and noisy (you can hear everything from the next door room. We had somekind of a suite, two bedrooms and a big hall-like livingroom/bedroom. Bonus to that we had a long corridor to bathroom and mystery doors the lead to nowhere but we could hear some noise behind them. Not talking, noise. Bathroom was looking like it was taken from some Soviet prison, smelled like a mixture of sewage and cabbage. After 30 minutes of running hot water you could eventually get Luke warm water. But drain on the floor was so bad, that every 10 minutes spend on running water, you needed to wait 5 minutes to drain the water. On the walls there where tennis ball sized spiders, but only during the dark hours, during daylight they where gone. So in general, never ever I'll visit here again. But why not 1, why 2? Well, there was this old man at the reception. Bad English, but friendly and helpful. Turned out to be the owner, if we understood each others correctly. So nice and friendly, thus 2 instead of 1.

We booked this as part of a package with Expedia. We chose it because of the location, price, and because it made are package much much less expensive. We stayed two nights and it was WELL beyond our expectations. We had two room suite with a spectacular view from the hill. The staff was so accommodating and helpful, offering us refreshments and food even though it was almost 10:00pm. This being our first trip to Europe, we were fully prepared to be disappointed, but this was not the case at all. The Hotel was clean and the staff takes pride in their establishment. If you are looking for a nice place that will not break the bank, I highly recommend this hotel!

The reason why we have chosen for this hotel is that they have decent family rooms. We stayed here with our 2 kids. The hotel is a little bit outside of the center of Budapest, but we did not really care since we had a rental car and could easily reach this hotel without bothering about public transport. Staff is friendly and helpful. They asked for payment the night we checked-in which was weird, but ok. The rooms are spacious, basic and clean enough. The only small thing is that we had visits of ants in the room; especially the bathroom. But it was manageable. Breakfast was ok, very basic nothing special. All good for the stay we had. It is a proper hotel to stay,
