This hotel is right in the centre of Budapest making everything in easy walking distance. The hotel arranged our personal transport from the airport for around £25. It was quite some distance so was well worth it. The driver had our names on a card as we came out into the foyer. On arrival the staff were very friendly and...

From the moment we walked in the door, we felt welcomed. The registration desk staff could not have done more to make sure that we had all information we needed both for our stay as well as for getting around in Budpest. Since we are from the USA, most impressive was their impeccable English. They went above and beyond for...

Stayed 4 nights (3 couples, 3 rooms) with excellent service and friendliness. Arranged for shuttle from airport was on time and all other transportation was efficiently handled. Location is excellent, close to many Pest hi-lights yet on a quiet street. The rooms themselves were outstanding, thoroughly modern and upscale, and look/are even better than depicted on their website. All the...

We arrived late in the evening and we were greeted by one of the most friendly hotel reception staff I've ever encountered. A gentleman who I can't remember the name of unfortunately, checked us into our room, gave us all the hotel information we needed, plus a map of the city and plenty of additional information about the city to...

This hotel is ideally situated in a quiet street in the centre of Budapest. It is fairly straightforward and much cheaper than a taxi to get to this hotel by public transport (bus / metro) from the airport if you do not have too much luggage. It is a short walk from a metro station. Our room was nicely decorated...

Maybe not a lot of choice in tv channels but a very good service to book the baths tickets or boat cruises... The neighbourhood is quiet with a lot of places to eat also....

I was pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel is. Bathrooms have been recently remodeled and are very nice and tasteful. Bed is comfortable and comforter is nice and warm as it is still chilly out. Many restaurants close by but one is outstanding. The Alibi....terrific food. My salmon was perfectly cooked and both entrees and one beverage each bill came...

This hotel is in a great location in the middle of Budapest. Tucked away in a little side street next to a church. This hitel is spacious with rooms and staff are helpful with directions and information. The breakfast is very basic but come on with the price of your room. Overall I would stop here again and again

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
