This hotel looks ritzy but the decor and fittings are quite tired. Huge lobby suggests it is set up for large groups arriving. It is way out of the city centre. There is nothing of note in the immediate surroundings except the grey Danube , across a busy road and train tracks. On a positive note, the staff were efficient and pleasant and the room was quiet. If you buy a day pass, Budapest transport is very good value, and you can always get the old eastern bloc style train H5 to the city centre, and hop on and off the trams

Restaurant The hotel had the Fife committee conference on Friday night , so apparently we’re not able to staff their onsite restaurant accordingly. We were charged £60 for food that arrived late and with the risotto was tasteless and largely inedible. We wanted deserts but after what seemed 3O minutes waiting gave up. Would not recommend this place as it’s pricey, food is indifferent and service non existent

I stayed there for 5 nights, the rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel is a few steps from tram and train station so you can easily use the public transport. The breakfast buffet was good, food was fresh and the verity was also good, the hotel has a spa on floor -1 that is very relaxing. The staff are very kind and helpful, I would like to give special thanks to Mr. Hamed Aalipour who checked me in and provided me with any help and information I needed throughout my stay, he really went the extra mile and made my all the more pleasant. I highly recommend staying there if you are visiting budapest.

I arrived in Budapest for the Sziget festival. I decided to book this hotel 4 months before..... the price was very reasonable for 3 nights. We arrived the check in was very easy and our room was ready by almost 11:30am which was great as it could normally be about 2 or 3pm. The only thing I found was that the price for food if you decided to eat in the hotel was pretty pricey compared to the likes of eating in the city or if you walked 10 or 15 minutes away from the hotel. All and all I would recommend staying here if you decided to go to Sziget it's safe, clean and about a 13 or 14 minute walk to the main bridge you go over.

Nice hotel, good location for the Sziget festival but a little out of it for a city stay. Staff nice and rooms clean. Price a little inflated the time we were there but understandable as the festival was on. Would recommend.
