It’s a very nice, cozy hotel, it is very well located, right across heroes square. Actually the receptionist was very nice and let us choose between two rooms that were available in the hotel, and we chose the one with the view on the heroes square which was just wonderfull. The thermal baths are 10 minutes by walking. The room, although wasn’t very spacious, was very comfortable and quiet. The hotel has parking for which you have to pay. The breakfast was fine, but the girl who clears the table was very upset in every morning , seamed like she wanted to punch somebody . The metro station is near hotel. Over all we would return here.
We arrived at 5:25 pm after a long train ride from Prague. We had to wheel our luggage around the block to access the elevator. There was no one available to check us in as desk clerk was busy at Chinese Medical Centre which was not here when I last stayed at this hotel in 2015. We asked for ice and he didn’t think there was any but some did appear. The room is too hot and he says that is as cool as it goes! We are not off to a happy start. Really enjoyed this hotel last time.
The location is perfect for the spa complex, and park nearby with a lot of things there, a bit of a walk to the Danube part of the city but with very good transport links, including a night bus which we used. The room was ok as a size, our was overlooked on a side, so not too noisy, bare in mind the hotel is situated on a main street with a lot of traffic in the day. The staff was very helpful anytime we needed them.
Stayed her for 2 days on a shirt trip. Arrived fairly late in the evening and was swifty checked in. By friendly receptionist. She gave advice on where to find something to eat at that late time or offered to arrange a takeaway as no restaurantat the hotel whichwas a little disappointing. The room was hot, which was uncomfortable during the night had to open the window and have the constant traffic noise as the aircon didn't work but it worked well when drying our things from the thermal baths (5min walk) the next day! Lots of choice at breakfast the next morning, cereals, yoghurt, ham, cheese, bread and a hot option. Only saw staff for them to ask for the breakfast voucher, a bitbof help working the drink machine would have been great. Check out was equally as swift, paying the city tax and minibar costs and they were more tgan happy to store our bags after checkout until out late eve flights. Location wise, just ocer the road ftom heros Square and a 1 min walk to the yellow line metro and bus stops ine of which takes you to the castle. So while its a little bit away from the city hustle once you get your head around the transport system its only minutes from anywhere. Would stay again. …
Stayed here a few years back and wasn’t very impressed. Arrived at night and found they had double-booked so there was no room for me. They checked my reservation and confirmed the mistake was on their end. I took the news calmly after all, anyone could make a mistake. They arranged for me to stay in an equally 4* rated restaurant nearby for the night with the promise that a vehicle would be sent to pick me up by 10 am the next morning to bring me back by which time a room would be available for my use. From the time I was dropped off in the other hotel, everything went smoothly up until 10 am the next day when I sat in the lobby waiting for a vehicle that never arrived! Imagine my consternation when I finally asked the receptionist to call my hotel and no one had any idea about my pick-up. He advised me the other hotel was just a stone’s throw away (which in all fairness, it was) but I had a suitcase and a few pieces of hand-held luggage to contend with that I had to drag all the way back to La Mirage. The point though, is you don’t mess up a guest’s reservation, book them elsewhere for one night with a promise to pick them up and then forget about the person, leaving them to find their way back to a hotel they left in car, in a foreign place, at night, tired and weary and not paying attention to the surroundings in the assurance they would be picked up the next day! I got there to find new staff at the desk who thankfully had my room ready but had no idea about the fact that I was supposed to be pick picked up earlier from the other hotel. I was so not impressed an was ready to mark them down as 1*. Oh, did I mention there are quite a number of steps leading to the front entrance so if you are travelling alone and you had a heavy suitcase or such, you would have to leave it outside, then go to reception where they would arrange for you to use the back entrance lift an you would then come out, retrieve your luggage and drag it round the back to the basement where the lift would take you to the reception. After that woeful start, the staff were friendly and helpful for the rest of my 3-night stay on this trip, hence the 3* rating. Good location for accessing the wedding venues which was the purpose of my trip and close to areas of interest so I could engage in tourist activities.…
Went to the Hotels separate restaurant for Lunch after visiting Heroes Square. The staff were polite and friendly, there was good views and from where we were sitting as we could see Heroes Square. Overall reasonable prices and tasty food. Would come again.
Stayed here for a few days city break Great check in easy to find from Hero’s square but did need to get bus from airport and them metro to hero’s square Quick walk to hotel Lovely big room overlooking the street but not too noisy and very comfortable Breakfast good but a bit odd Chinese offerings but lots of other things too plenty of choice There is a Chinese medicine centre at the hotel - very interesting! Lovely staff especially eve great staff young man - think called Tomas -on duty every evening was very chatty and helpful You will have to use metro to get into centre but easy to do - but very near the spa and museums
The staff were very friendly, helpful and available at all times. Rooms were very clean and hotel is in good location. It's not right in the center but very easy to find taxis. I would definitely recommend it. Special thanks to staff; they answered all my questions before my stay and were also very helpful during our stay.
the men in reception very nice and helpful when asking for different tips the so-called restaurant in the cellar where ice-cold and there were only some dishes available -most of the food were sold out
I stayed here 2 nights on a work trip. I arrived late and left very early, so I was glad to be able to check in & out without a problem. The room was nice and simple and it is a good location. However, my main issue was with the WiFi in the room. It was completely unreliable and would often just drop out and disappear or not work properly. Which isn’t convenient if you are planning to work from the hotel (maybe it was just because my room was on the side) I had to purchase data which was an additional cost. Another small issue I had is that I asked the hotel staff to call an official taxi for me to go to the airport at 3.30 am. They did, but called a more expensive taxi company (it cost about 10 euros extra than the regular) which I wasn’t too pleased about since I expressly asked for the official yellow taxis. You may also want to note that some rooms (I stayed on the 2nd floor) get quite a bit of noise from the street at night (ambulances, police) and smells from the restaurant. I don’t think I would go back.…
