This apartment cost around £37 per night which is incredible value. The location was fantastic with a supermarket next door with plenty of choice even fresh bread. As soon as I booked online I was sent an email offering taxi service from the airport which we didn't need. On arrival at 12pm we were able to check in and go...

2 night stay. Arrived 9pm, the hotel organised transport which was great for €25. The driver emailed and explained he would wait for us at the airport with my full name and sure enough the driver was there. The apartment is great fir 2 nights. Staff are welcoming. The location is perfect 3/5 min walk from city centre, hop on...

An apartment very well located: near the subway, bus stops, restaurants and bars, grocery stores and various other stores. Modern and comfortable, the room in which we were housed possessed a well-equipped kitchenette, TV, air conditioning, wi-fi, good soundproofing window overlooking the main avenue, an area of dining and another area to be. Very good price-quality ratio. The reception staff...

Odd name for a hotel, but it was fine and for the budget conscious it is well worth considering. Spent one night midweek after trekking around the city looking for suitable place to spend the evening after a train trip up from Kecskemet. The cost was about $A75 for a double and for that money it was excellent value. Spacious...

Quite a decent hotel, not flash but clean and comfortable. Small kitchen area, ok bathroom. This hotel is on a main road so the traffic noise was noticeable despite double glazing. The air conditioner worked well. It is in a terrific location, right next to the Jewish area which is great for food and an easy walk into the city...

I went with my Grandson to Budapest and a twin bedded studio at K9 was plenty big enough for us. We ate out in the evenings but the kitchenette part of the room was adequate to make breakfast and a packed lunch. There was a supermarket next door which was very convenient. The property is near the centre and on...

The staff was extremely courteous and very helpful. Before we got there we sent several e-mails with questions and they always responded promptly. Our efficiency apartment was great. A nice local grocery store is located right next door. An easy walk to the starting point of the Hop On Hop Off buses. No wash cloths, but that's pretty typical in...

We were 2 women, mother daughter, having a fun vacation in Budapest. This place was heavenly- private, clean, completely furnished, and- most importantly- literally in the middle of everything. We did all the touristy things including museums, walking tours, exploring the castle, ruin bars, great restaurants, etc- without ever having to step into a taxi. All just steps away from...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
