District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.

Great hotel. Fantastic location by US embassy near Parliament, Basilica and lots of restaurants. Spot on service, very clean, and attentive professional staff. The concierge, Valentin was great. The rooms are very quiet and the bathroom was well appointed. We had complimentary gifts each day; including cookies, Palinka, and water. Very nice breakfast that also had eggs to order. The day before check out the front desk called our room, set-up an airport taxi and retrieved our bags the following morning. I would stay there again.

Hotel's Favorite
Surprisingly quiet with no passing traffic, the hotel is opposite a beautiful park (where you can have a delicious breakfast a fifth of the cost of the hotel). The hotel has a wonderful fragrance everywhere, the staff are helpful and speak perfect English. The rooms are large with a huge bath and shower, all mod cons, extremely comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel, lots of good restaurants are within walking distance, and of course you can walk to the main attractions quite easily. A mention to Bence a charming member of staff who literally did anything he was asked to do with a willing smile and a genuine enjoyment of his job (receptionist/porter/odd jobs)......great to see such enthusiasm. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Just checked in today and what an impression! 5 star service and the room is absolutely beautiful. We feel very welcome by all the staff, it’s a lovely touch to have a glass of liquor waiting for us after a lovely stroll around town. We look forward to the rest of our stay here.

Review collected in partnership with Iberostar
Short 10 min walk from central bus stop from airport. In a quieter (less touristy) area of the city. A lot of embassies are located near by. Nice friendly welcome by reception staff. Choice of sparking wine or juice on arrival. In our room within 10-15 mins. And what a room.Massive and high ceilings/large windows. Large bathroom with nice trendy bath and what must be the best (rainfall) shower we have used in a long time.Came in handy as was a very hot 3 days in Budapest. Massive bed which was extremely comfortable. Had not paid for breakfast which was an expensive add on if we changed our minds but there are fantastic eateries all over the place/next door/on the same road for breakfast etc. Free high speed wifi. Fridge could have been cooler and would have been nice to have a complimentary water bottle each day instead of just the first day. 3 min walk to the Danube, 5 min to St.Stephen's Basilica, 8 mins walk to the Hungarian Parliament Building and 10 mins to the central area (Deak Ferenc Metro/buses/trams etc)
