I booked the Boscolo Residence was a birthday trip away with the boyfriend. Although I realised I booked the wrong hotel (thought it was The Boscolo Hotel) I wasn't disappointed! The buildings were connected, and we were still able to use the spa and famous New York Cafe. Staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. Fluent in English which isn't...

Well situated, the suite was big, clean and confortable. The New York Cafe is a must to see and to enjoy its breakfast as the food was perfect and the service is very friendly and efficient. Budapest is definitely worth to be visited and to be discovered.

We chose this apartment for four nights. The location is good and has the main hotel and New York Cafe attached. So worth going in both as the setting is wonderful. Our apartment was fine, very basic on the kitchen front but adequate for breakfast and would be great if you have kids. The rooms are serviced every day which...

The Residence is tired, dingy and unloved, it cannot be classed as luxury accommodation. The "New York Suite" is advertised as three bathroom three bed apartment, that description doesn't clarify one bathroom is in fact a toilet (downstairs), and that between the two upstairs bathrooms there is only one shower. The "duplex" accommodation is pictured with a sweeping staircase, ours...

The location is great although it is not in the middle of Budapest center, but it is only two metro stops away and it is located right by the metro station. The rooms looks a lot better on the pictures, but they were absolutely okay. It was clean, spacious and the bed and lined were good. It is very practical...

We were in Boscolo Residence my wife, daughter, little dog and me for almost 7 weeks between March and April, in a duplex apartment with big and beautiful-sight balconies. It was a great experience living in a very comfortable and roomy apartment, very well equipped with top quality accesories. Personnel is very kind, warm and attentive. Service is plenty of...

I travelled with one of my very dear friends to Budapest in March this year. This country is by far the cheapest to travel, eat and get around. The transport connections from the airport to Boscolo was super easy and straightforward. Once arriving at the apartment we were greeted by lovely staff who were very helpful!! Our room was HUGE...

The hotel is great for its value. The highlight of the stay is definitely the breakfast in New York Cafe! What can be better than start your day from the most stunning cafe in the world. The hotel has a great location with serval public transportation nearby. The room is spacious and clean. However the central air condition doesn't work...

I was surprised to read some of the below reviews. I had a fantastic stay at a very good price in one of the studios. I had breakfast at the New York cafe included, which was great, the spa you can use for 15 euros which is lovely. Studio was spacious and very clean and comfortable. I thought the staff...

I am reviewing the Boscolo Residence, not the main Boscolo Hotel, as both a vastly different. So, where do I start? Check-In, not the quickest but it was easy process, however I had a trainee (Heni) and she tried her hardest, but she truly did not understand my request The room, well, my honest review has to be a poor...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
