The iron in the room destroyed my top. I went to the reception to make a complaint, but surprisingly no one wanted to do anything with my problem. They called the manager and not even sharing his reaction with me because (as they said) it was as impolite. They accused me not to use the iron correctly and they did not apologize... I returned to the manager who informed me that they already gave the iron to other customers even if they were aware of its low quality. They let me go without any compensation... The service is scandalous! I do not recommend this place to anyone!

An unpleasant situation was occurred at the hotel! We forgot the wedding ring on the bed, after returning we were told, but there was nothing. The fact is that they didn't even want to help us normally. I know 100% that I left it in the room on the bed, I took it off to use face cream. The administrator, who worked on July 6 and 7, behaved suspiciously from the first minute immediately answered “NO” on the question about the wedding ring. He later made several calls, but it no avail. He promised that everything would be checked and he will call us, but nothing. My recommendation for future clients - be careful, keep an eye on things and obviously do not forget anything. Recommendation for hotel managers check your staff, because I know exactly that the wedding ring was appropriated. After all, this is your reputation and your money, if it's important to you ...

Booked this hotel through booking.com as it had fab reviews! 8.2/10! It’s lucky I’m giving it a 2/5. Visited with friends for a trip to Budapest. Hotel “apartments” are NOT as advertised. Rooms are old and dated. Beds are SO uncomfy. Rooms are good, drafty&noisey. Spa facilities. Gym was good but busy, it looks directly into the hotel so the guests do watch you working out. Pool was chilly, hot tub was overly chlorine filled, steam room was closed. No slippers (as advertised), shower is smelly and there’s a washing machine half blocking you from getting in! Cheap airfreshners in rooms to hide the smell! Overall would not rate!

We were staying at a 1 bed room apartment for one week dusting 3- 10 Feb 2019. We have chosen the hotel because of its facility (pool and Fitness) and the location. Hotel is also call City Gardens Hotel. we have been upgrade to the bigger room which we were really appreciated. after the first night every was fine. then we had an issue with the wet floor in bed room by the 2nd night of our stay. the Carpet was wet from under. it might be a water pipe damage. we reported the issue right away to receptionist. they sent the maintenance to check the problem. he took some photos and told us will come back to fix the issue later and by tomorrow it should be fixed. But no one has came back nor either letting us know the progress. we were asking every day at the reception but no one seem to do anything until we checked out. we were seriously complaint about the issue and wanting to speak to manager and of course he was not there. By the time we checked out the Receptionist informed us he has been contacted with manager of hotel and they wanted to give some refund on our room. All we need to do is write them an email. we did that but never heard anything back.
