Detailed Reviews
Very nice hotel, only one block from Váci Street, close to market and tram stop. This hotel was so quiet, I never heard another person the two nights I was here. Breakfast is an additional 15 euros but was excellent. My first day I skipped breakfast and went somewhere else for coffee and a pastry, which cost 10 euros. For that price it is better to just have the hotel breakfast which was terrific and had many, many options. My room was clean, quiet, nice bathroom and shower. The front desk staff was very nice, during my stay I had a question about my BKK daily transit pass and the person at the desk was very helpful.
On previous trips to Budapest I stayed at two different hotels near the Boráros ter H tram stop, I liked them both and breakfast was included there, but I’d prefer to stay at Bohem Art because the location is so convenient - I could get anywhere quickly and enjoyed being close to everything but in a quiet location.

Comfortable and above all very clean hotel. Stra recommended for the location (5 min walk from the central market and the main street of the city). The room is redone every day and they leave a free bottle of water when they redo the room.
I don’t give 5 stars because my room was small, surely a room a little bigger would have earned 5 stars.
I didn’t try breakfast because the cost of 15€ per day per person seemed a bit high and around the hotel there are many bars to have breakfast.
I recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to come and Budapest because it is really cozy. The bathroom is comfortable and the shower is good and very large, it is made to walk in.
The Gellért spa is less than 10 minutes walk from the Bohem, the hotel also has a tram and buses in front of Budapest is small and everything is easy to get around.
Courteous staff,
See you soon!

The pillows were really comfortable !! It was spotlessly clean. There was a Bath not just a shower.
We had a studio room for myself and my daughter which consisted of two interconnected bedrooms. There was a fridge and we appreciated the free bottles of water daily.
The location is amazing as the street is quiet but you are within walking distance of everything. The rooms look into an internal courtyard so no street noise and you can open the window which is perfect if you are menopausal! The staff were lovely. The breakfast was amazing but the best thing was the location. Having trodden the streets of Budapest it was a lovely area to come back to and was definitely the most lovely part of Budapest. The streets were clean and peaceful. The other guests were mostly international who were respectful at breakfast. Mostly couples. The selection for gluten free was really good. There was hot and cold buffet and everything you could want all spotlessly prepared.

Modern hotel, recently renovated, located in the very center in a street parallel to the main street of restaurants and shops Váci utca, very close to the Freedom Bridge, the Danube, the central market and the Gellert spa, with about 20 minutes on foot you reach the St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Parliament and the main attractions of the city. Also close to the metro and tram stops. Tastefully furnished rooms but a little small, while the bathroom is large and comfortable. Each room is also equipped with daily bottles of water and a kettle with herbal teas and tea. Very good and varied breakfast, equipped with all sorts of savory foods, there was even a machine to make juice with fresh oranges, to enhance the dessert corner a little, all that was missing was a few cakes and some biscuits. Very kind staff. Excellent value for money. In the afternoon the hotel also offers guests a free bar area for coffee and tea.

The hotel is located near the center and is easily accessible, it has a nearby parking service at a price of €25 per day. It might seem expensive but in reality it isn't.... we got 2 fines (€30 each) for delaying the additional payment of the parking meter by just 5 minutes...
The area is currently undergoing road renovation and is not easy to access even for pedestrians.
The rooms are excellent, well cleaned and equipped, we had 2 rooms on the sixth floor and 1 on the third, all very quiet.
The paintings by contemporary artists present both in the rooms and in the hotel premises are original.
The receptionists were very helpful in printing the flight check-in.
The best appreciation is for the breakfast served as a buffet, with savory and also sweet dishes, it is unthinkable to think of having lunch after such an abundant breakfast!!!

Fabulous stay at the Bohem. Stayed as a couple for 4 nights. Hotel kindly arranged our hotel transfers both ways (36 euros per journey). Check in was swift. Room was spacious and had everything we needed including kettle and complimentary tea and coffee. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom. There was a small fridge with a selection of drinks but these incurred a cost. Our room was cleaned everyday and we were supplied with a bottle of water each day too. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great with a range of choice to suit anyone. We loved the fresh orange juice machine. Staff at breakfast were really organised and efficient. Hotel was in a great location for us. We had the central market a few minutes stroll away, as well as lots of choice for food, drink, shopping and sightseeing. Check out was 11am and we were able to store our luggage securely until we left for the airport. Free tea and coffee is served every afternoon from 4pm until 5pm which we used on our final day - a lovely touch. We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. Excellent quality/price ratio, renovated, modern and welcoming structure. The room was clean and the sweet and savory buffet breakfast was good. The hotel is in a good location, the neighborhood is very quiet but still very close to the central market, the Danube, the Gellert spa and in a few minutes by public transport you can reach the center of Budapest.

Great location, next to Vaci Utca (commercial street with several options of restaurants, shops, services), between the Danube River and the Central Market. With easy access to Andrassy (main avenue). Bedroom and bathroom are spacious. They provide a hairdryer, minibar and electric kettle. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Breakfast, perfect!!! It even offers lactose and gluten free options, for people with allergies and food intolerances. Service in general, 10!!!

My first time in Budapest & what a lovely hotel, clean & very helpful staff. The hotel team always went out of their way to help, the location is very good Vaci Street, River Danube & Central Market a few mins walk away. I had breakfast at the hotel a couple of times which wasn’t included in my package deal, it was amazing & what a lovely spread. The room has a mini bar & a free water bottle. If I ever visit Budapest again I would stay at this hotel.

Hello ! I'm sorry for the late reply . I was not alone, but in the evening it is full of many people and it seems safe. I am from this part of Europe and felt at home and safe.
Dear Jennie,
Thanks for your inquiry! We recently restarted our buffet breakfast service, you can make your reservations with breakfast included or without it.
We plan to launch our bar again in the close future. We will signify our bar on all platform as soon as it is restarted.
Kind regards,
Roland
Super easy to just take the bus. It's direct. I think you get off the 2nd of 3 stops. Then it's a really short walk to the hotel. Also, it's really inexpensive.
Dear "skb2000",
Thank you for your question.
Although the hotel does not have its own parking facilities there is a secured, nearby garage where we have places.
Please read all the necessary information regarding the parking below:
- Price: 20 EUR /night - This service is payable in cash at the hotel reception.
- The garage (distance from hotel: 70 meters) can be accessed 24/7, it is secured and has English-speaking reception service.
- Maximum vehicle height: 2 meters.
Advance reservation is recommended prior to arrival.
Kind regards,
David Bots
For arrivals ask the hotel to pick you up as it’s free.
For departure it takes 30 minutes by bus - ask at the hotel reception for directions as it’s 5 minutes walk to the bus stop.
