    Fabulous Hotel in Perfect Location
We booked our three night stay directly on the hotel website, which included a (one way) transfer from the airport as part of the package. The hotel is in the perfect location for sightseeing, shopping and is close to lovely cafes, restaurants and bars. We like to walk everywhere, but if needed, the hotel is well served by buses, trams and the metro. On arrival we were warmly welcomed at reception. The checkin process was quick and we were given the information we needed to make our stay perfect. Our room was clean, comfortable, peaceful and quirky. The bathroom had a great shower and included toiletries. Bottled water was included on a daily basis. The bar was a lovely, tranquil area to enjoy a drink each evening. The bar staff spent time to chatting to customers and offering help when needed to choose the right drink. We had been given a voucher for a drink each as part of our booking package and chose a Pina Colado; it was expertly made by the barman and tasted gorgeous! We had read great reviews about the breakfast and it certainly didn't disappoint! It was probably the best hotel breakfast we've ever had! The choice was fantastic and catered for everyone. Fruit, cereal, nuts, seeds, yogurt, fresh squeezed orange juice, choices of cheese, meat, fish, salad, couscous, sausages, eggs, bacon, bread, cakes, tea, coffee and champagne. I had the Bircher muesli each morning and it was absolutely gorgeous. All the staff in the hotel were polite, friendly, smiling and appeared to be very happy working there and enjoyed meeting their guests I can only say good things about the Bohem Art Hotel and would love to stay again if we return to Budapest.
Dear "June1069", I cannot express my gratitude enough for sharing your exquisite review about your recent stay at Bohem Art Hotel. It is such a delight to know that we succeeded to meet and exceed your expectations in so many aspects. Our team highly appreciates your complimenting words about our superb location and rich buffet breakfast, as well. Thank you for taking the time to share your fantastic feedback; we are looking forward to welcoming you back on your next visit to Budapest. Kind regards, Roland Ruska

    Great hotel close to everything!
I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my fiance and I can say that it was really nice stay. We're welcomed with 2 bottles of water and bottle of sparkling wine which was included in the room. It could be a bit colder (one Ice bucket could fix it) but it was really nice wine. Big + is for the reception staff and I can't forget to mention barman Kevin. He is such a nice addition to the hotel. Great job! Breakfast is really nice as well, you can choose from cold and hot buffet which is continually filled. During our stay there wasn't any big issue which we couldn't fix with reception staff. We will for sure come back!
Dear "Cajtik", Our team feels so rewarded after reading your stunning review! It is a pleasure to know that you liked your stay for so many reasons. Special thanks for mentioning our impeccable reception staff and the unforgettable barman Kevin - thank you very much for taking the time to share your positive experience on Tripadvisor. We are looking forward to the next time we can welcome you amongst our kind guests. Best regards, Roland Ruska

    Just book it, it's fantastic
Bohem Art Hotel was an absolute dream. Myself and my fiance enjoyed 4 nights there and I cannot praise it highly enough. Location wise it was ideal. We walked everywhere and while we were really central, the hotel is on a small side street so it doesn't get noisy overnight, particularly with large stag and hen parties which potter about. The rooms were pristine with scented pillows and really funky decor. I'll mention the shower too just because a rainshower like this one is an ideal start to a morning. As we booked directly through the website for 3 or more nights, we got an airport transfer included aswel as breakfast. The spread was incredible with loads of both healthy and guilty options. We were also delighted that brekkie was available until 11am on weekday and midday on the weekend as having a wee lie in is half the joy of a citybreak to us. Finally, the staff were delightful. So friendly, accommodating and helpful. Finally, this hotel was insane value for money and we really appreciated the little extras like a welcome drink in the bar (the bartender who's name escapes me, was so passionate about Hungarian produce so he gave us plenty of tips as to eating and drinking in the city), coffees in the afternoon and as we booked one of the Sweetheart rooms, we also got a bottle of prosecco thrown in. Set yourself up for a wonderful trip to Budapest and book the Bohem Art Hotel. Go ahead. You'll be delighted.
Dear "Bumpkinboo", I cannot thank you enough for posting such a lovely and gratifying review about your experience in Bohem Art Hotel. We highly appreciate your kind words about our great location and plenteous breakfast; it is such a pleasure to know that your expectations have been met and exceeded. Also, I am thrilled to read that you could take full advantage of our freebies that come along with every direct reservation. Thank you very much again for the wonderful feedback about the hotel and the staff, and for your kind recommendation to other travellers, as well. We cannot wait for your next trip to the gorgeous city of Budapest - I really hope we will have the chance to make your next stay just as magical as the last one. Best regards, Roland Ruska

What a great find for a hotel! In a perfect location and so well priced compared to everything around. If you walked up one street you are right near the shops and bars, would highly recommend the for sale pub which is a 5 min walk. The staff were so lovely and couldn’t do enough! Breakfast was very good with a nice selection of hot and cold food! Room was clean and beds were so comfy, loved the blackout blinds which didn’t let any light in!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our triple room was clean, airy and quite spacious. The hotel's location is excellent, centrally located and great access to shops and restaurants just down the road. The front-desk team were all really helpful and friendly - they went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. They gave us great recommendations on how to plan our sightseeing, helped us book a transfer to the railway station and even allowed us to check out one hour later at no cost and to have some of the free coffee during the happy hour even though we'd checked out. These gestures go a long way when you're on a hectic travel schedule and are a huge part of why we would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

A lovely modern hotel in a great location! I stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. My room was spacious and very clean. There are numerous restaurants around the corner from the hotel, and it is well connected to all tourist attractions by walking and public transport. I would love to stay at this hotel again in the future.

Location is very good: 5 minute walk from Liberty Bridge & Central Market. Safe neighborhood. Rooms very small. Bed uncomfortable; it was basically a cheap, thin coiled mattress placed on a raised floor with no box spring. Each morning I woke up with sore back. Staff was neutral; just doing their job; nothing more or less. A/C worked. Bathroom reasonable. Room clean. No coffee/tea in room. Paper thin walls. Anyone from street can enter the hotel at all hours of day and night with access to different floors. I won’t be returning because of how uncomfortable the beds are.

A very accommodating and lovely hotel. The location is great just off Váci street and the river. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and we enjoyed our room. We found the room to be quiet from both street noise and other guests. The staff are able to help with recommendations and speak excellent English

We stayed at this hotel 8 years ago & loved it due to the location, atmosphere and just the general feel of the place so we were dying to go back. Sadly it wasn’t as nice as previously, no atmosphere, soulless, pretty dull not like the vibrant lighting of previous. Staff were ok & the rooms we’re comfortable but no tea making facilities in the room. They have tea/coffee available from 2pm-5pm but nobody wants to be on a hotel in the middle of the day! They should make it available all the time. Sadly we won’t be back to this hotel.

Dear "SwissChouette", Thank you for taking the time to let us know your feedback. We appreciate your remarks regarding the cleanliness of our rooms and the polite service provided by our staff. I would like to apologize if our design and concept did not meet your expectations - it is understandable that everyone has their own preferences when it comes to aesthetics and style and it is quite unfortunate that despite our best efforts to publish the most realistic photos, a comprehensive perception was not successfully conveyed before making a reservation. As for our buffet breakfast, we strive to offer a variety of options to cater to different tastes and dietary requirements, and I am sorry to know that it may not have met your specific expectations. We will take your feedback into consideration as we continuously work to improve our services and offerings. Best regards, Roland

My main reason for writing the review is to compliment Ava, the woman who works the front desk during the day. She was tremendously helpful in coordinating taxis, airport transfer and airline tickets. She was so helpful with everything we needed during our stay. Breakfast was great and the room was wonderful as well. Great price too!
