Stayed for 4 nights in this central hotel. Location is perfect for getting about. Booked through Jet2 and were given a premium room. Not sure what the benefit of this was? Room was ok but bathroom was very small and as average size people we found getting in and out of shower tricky. Be aware rooms are cleaned up until 4pm every day and we were unlucky enough to come back twice at 2/3pm for a rest to find that our room hadn’t been serviced yet. Breakfast can be hectic and the choice is a bit random. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel on location.

We stayed at La Prima Fashion hotel for a mid week break in Budapest. We arrived at about 1 am, but this wasn’t an issue as the very helpful member of staff at reception ensured we were in our room in no time. The room wasn’t massive but was perfect for our needs and was always kept clean. Despite its central location it was also nice and quiet. The room was very toasty, a little too warm for my tastes, but suited my partner perfectly. It had an espresso machine and pods, but a kettle would have been useful.

The cooked breakfast consisted of mini sausages and then sometimes it had boiled vegetables, other times ratatouille and others spiced baked beans. There were also scrambled and boiled eggs, but no bacon while we were there. It could get quite busy at times and the staff did their best to ensure there was always a table free. There were also notices advising on the best times to go which were pretty accurate.
The thing that really stands out about this hotel is the location, it’s incredible! Really central to so many of the things we wanted to see, we didn’t have to use public transport/taxis at all apart from getting to and from the airport. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, it was a perfect base to see the city from.

Our flight was a bit delayed from East Midlands so we arrived a couple of hours later than expected but this was no issue and the reception staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from where the airport bus drops you off so that is very convenient. The hotel is very central so walking to all of the major sites is easy and pleasant. Our room was lovely, it was a good size, the bathroom was also a good size and a great mirror and lighting for doing make-up.
The breakfast room, I had heard was crowded and hectic, however we did not exprience this issue. We went during February so maybe this is not such a busy time of year, but there was always enough seating and tables and there was the usual continental breakfast type food on offer.
I can't fault this hotel in any way. We had a fantastic stay and if I were to visit Budapest again I would certainly use the same hotel.

We stayed here as part of a jet2 city break. On arrival we were treated by very friendly staff and when checking in he gave us lots of helpful hints and tips and a map with the hotel marked on and landmarks to visit.
I was a little disappointed when we got to the room it was very small and needed a refresh . It was clean though. Just a few stains on the carpet and the walls could do with a lick of paint. The bathroom was tiny as was the shower you could barley move in it. We had to ask for fresh towels as on the first day when it was cleaned the cleaner removed the towels but didn’t leave us any fresh ones, then on Sunday our room wasn’t cleaned at all so again had to ask for clean towels.
Breakfast we only went to once even though it was included. It was so cramped in there you couldn’t get past as people’s chairs were touching back to back. They have squeezed far too many tables in. The selection of food was ok, but it wasn’t an enjoyable experience so decided we would get breakfast elsewhere for the rest of our stay. Also when we left the breakfast room we smelt of cooking because its a basement and no windows to open.
The location of the hotel is great walkable to most attractions and the staff really are very helpful. Sadly I don’t think I would stay here again due to the size of the rooms and the breakfast area. I would say it is more a 3 star than a 4.

We chose a 3 night stay in early October and had two double rooms for our party of 4. We had a very pleasant and smooth check in with the very professional reception staff and were directed to our rooms which had everything we needed. The location is unbeatable as it’s right in the heart of all the bars and restaurants and also just a 2 min walk to the lovely Danube River. The breakfast has a large selection of both hot and cold food and lots of fresh fruit and nice fresh coffee. Every staff member was pleasant and well presented. We will definitely return to La Prima if we visit Budapest in the future. I will flag up a couple of negative points just so they have the chance to improve future guests experiences. I found that at really busy times (8.30-845 am) the shower ran out of hot water but was back to full temperature by 9.45 when I checked it after breakfast. Also the towels are getting a bit tired and hard. And my wife did say that it wasn’t quite bright enough to apply her make up. But as previously mentioned we all really enjoyed our stay. Many Thanks

First best thing is the location! It is right in the centre and everything is within a good distance. Even though it’s in the city, we barely heard much noise from outside from our room.
Bedrooms are very spacious and excellent shower room. Comfy beds but not a fan of the pillows. Very small and too soft for our liking. The extra pillow in the wardrobe did not have any pillow case on them too.
Breakfast has good variety from continental to hot food. Dining hall is on the small side and in the basement with no view or natural light but never had problem getting a table.
Staff at front desk are very helpful and knowledgeable about things to do and places to visit. They recommended a few tourist locations and boat rides.
If we are ever in Budapest again, we would come back to this hotel.

The hotel has a great location and rooms at the rear overlooking courtyard are quiet. Bed super comfortable. These are genuine plus points not always assured when staying at a more expensive or higher star rating hotel.
However breakfast wasn't great, it was included for us. Hot options so few and not re-stocked so just got coffee juice and pasty. Dining room too crowded for number of guests so felt hectic and not relaxed and jammed in at the table. Staff were mixed. On check in the gentleman was brilliant, calm and professional, there was a power cut and he apologised, put notes on all the elevators and was genuinely helpful. The remaining staff didn't seem very proactive. We reported that our shower tray filled up quickly with water and risked flooding bathroom but there was no action until day 3. Towels are small and scratch, only 2 coffee pods are in room on arrival and not restocked when room cleaned so I am not sure why bother with adding a coffee machine to every room. The decor was tasteful but showing wear and tear and we didn't really like the huge mirror with poor lighting opposite the bed but with a TV inset off centre, such a strange design. No coat hooks and only one small table. I don't think this compares to other 4 star hotels but it has great potential to be up there with a few small changes and some effort.

My wife and I stayed here in for 2 nights in February. The reception is warm and welcoming even when we checked in at 2am.
We had a double deluxe room which for a city hotel was spacious. It was exceptionally clean, and the bed was comfortable. We had complimentary water left for us as well. The bathroom was very clean, and the shower was nice (although the bath to get into the shower was quite high).
The breakfast which was included has a good selection of cold and hot food. There was plenty to choose from.
The location of this hotel is excellent. It is very well situated to all the local sites which you would want to visit.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel, very central to shops & restaurants. Nice room, with everything we could need. The bed was very big and comfy (until the third & fourth night and my back started to hurt but that’s only due to having a orthopaedic mattress at home) breakfast was - different - everything was nice but some things wasn’t to our taste but we never went hungry in the morning.
I would definitely recommend this place to stay for a short break.
