Excellent stay for a 3 night city break with a teenage daughter. Perfect location for exploring Budapest on foot in fact we concluded we could not think of a better location from which to explore all that Pest and Buda have to offer. Vaci Street less than a minute and Elizabeth Bridge a 2 minute walk. Parliament, ruin bars, Palace and Buda old town all within 20 minute walk. River cruises on the door step. The hotel was clean and well presented and good varied breakfast choice. Staff very helpful. Fantastic break in Budapest and thank you La Prima!

Stayed for 4 nights in this central hotel. Location is perfect for getting about. Booked through Jet2 and were given a premium room. Not sure what the benefit of this was? Room was ok but bathroom was very small and as average size people we found getting in and out of shower tricky. Be aware rooms are cleaned up until 4pm every day and we were unlucky enough to come back twice at 2/3pm for a rest to find that our room hadn’t been serviced yet. Breakfast can be hectic and the choice is a bit random. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel on location.

We stayed at La Prima Fashion hotel for a mid week break in Budapest. We arrived at about 1 am, but this wasn’t an issue as the very helpful member of staff at reception ensured we were in our room in no time. The room wasn’t massive but was perfect for our needs and was always kept clean. Despite its central location it was also nice and quiet. The room was very toasty, a little too warm for my tastes, but suited my partner perfectly. It had an espresso machine and pods, but a kettle would have been useful. The breakfast was a little unusual. There was a really comprehensive continental selection with lots of cold meats, cheeses, fresh bread and pastries as well as fruit. The cooked breakfast consisted of mini sausages and then sometimes it had boiled vegetables, other times ratatouille and others spiced baked beans. There were also scrambled and boiled eggs, but no bacon while we were there. It could get quite busy at times and the staff did their best to ensure there was always a table free. There were also notices advising on the best times to go which were pretty accurate. The thing that really stands out about this hotel is the location, it’s incredible! Really central to so many of the things we wanted to see, we didn’t have to use public transport/taxis at all apart from getting to and from the airport. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, it was a perfect base to see the city from.
