Plenty of space in the room and good beds to sleep. They clean very good everyday the room. Nice swimming pool on the top of the hotel, inside and outside. The breakfast...

Such good value for a breath taking hotel in a great location. If you love Art Deco just come see this hotel. The rooms were 5*. Would love to come back. My only negative point was the price of breakfast but it really didn't bother me for what we paid x

We stayed for a fortnight and had a great time. The staff at the hotel were excellent. The room was cleaned daily regardless of whenever we left for the day. The location in the Jewish quarter is excellent. Close to the tube to visit all parts of the city, some great local restaurants at good value and live music venues....

Really glad we booked this hotel. Great service, rooms and location. Just round the corner from Szimpla Kert (ruin bar and best bar in Budapest in my opinion) and also minutes walk from Claustrophillia Room Escape attraction, which would also recommend doing. The hotel pool on the roof has a great view and also the piano bar etc is very...

The interior of the hotel was fabulous, I was very impressed upon entering it. The rooms were above average and the services were in abundance. The hotel was situated on a secondary road which was away from the passing traffic of the main road. This was ideal for me as I am a light sleeper. It was a short walk...

Stayed at Zara for 3 nights last week. Have no complaints about the room which was quite spacious, brilliant bathroom. Big hotel so can be a bit of a walk from the reception to the room. Only problem we had was with the key card which decided not to work on our final night, went to the reception and got...

Near to all the local attractions and amenities. Within 10 minute walk of the main bar and restaurant strip. When we arrived we discovered we had been given an junior suite (upgraded for free) the staff were lovely and helpful and managed to book us a table in a very busy restaurant where the food is reasonably priced and of...

Dear Amberlakatos, Thank you very much for your feedback. I’m very happy that you have so much enjoyed your stay with us. On the other side I’m a little lovelorn of your rating since we got „only” four points, although you were satisfied with your free upgraded junior suite and also with the staff and location. I hope at your...

This was our first impression upon entering the stunning foyer of this delightful hotel located in the older part of the city, where we stayed for 2 nights meeting relatives from UK. Fantastic buffet breakfast both mornings. Easy stroll along cobbled steets to local restaurants with food and live music, the real Hungarian experience.

The hotel is very stylish. I like the modern style. Air condition wasn't quite noisy, but not very disturbing on lower fan speed. The rooms were clean and nice, and relatively spacious. They was also sound proof there we were, on the 2. floor. The roof top garden was fantastic after a long day in the city- and the Finnish...

Decor in this hotel is very stylish, beautiful and with taste as you would expect for a boutique hotel. Breakfast was a great buffet and left our stomachs full to walk around the city. Our room was not very sound proof as you could hear people next door having chats or coughing. Not great. Staff was very helpful though, particularly...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
