I don't recommend this hostel. Some of the local people leave there in the hostel. Asking for money and taking the food from others. Cleaning is fine , reception is ok. Never stay in this hostel anymore!

Stayed for 5 nights with a friend in the Mixed dorm for the New Years. Found the hostel fairly clean (not impeccable but not disgusting) and the structure was good; there are extra showers outside the rooms which is always a plus, the kitchen has a free coffee machine which comes in hand and a chilling area if you feel like hanging out but not in the dorms. Location is also a nice point; close to conveniences (supermarket, pharmacy, coffee shops, mcdonalds etc), 15min walk from Elizabeth Square and in front of a metro station which will take you to all of the main attractions. Rooms are comfortable, beds are equipped with that cool curtain for privacy, sockets, a small shelf, lockers, etc. Services are also good; towels for rental were available and guidance regarding the city (like how to make our way to the bus station, etc) was provided. The staff was very nice and accommodating, they for sure went our of their way a few times to accommodate for our requests/needs, such as when we had to make the payment, receive mail at the hostel during our stay or even blow dry our hair in a cold wether day. It is not a party hostel or the best one if you are keen on meeting a bunch of people, but if you are travelling with friends already or don't mind wandering solo, that might be the perfect pick for you!

A really nice place. The kitchen was the highlight for me. It had complimentary coffee and a nice balcony overlooking the Main Street. The young guy working behind the desk was an absolute pleasure. He let me store my bags in the luggage room even after I checked out as I couldn’t move to my apartment until later that day.

I stayed for 3 nights in August in a female dorm. It's safe and really well located. It was tricky to find at first as the entrance looks like a building site. The hostel is upstairs. The facilities are good although I did not use the kitchen. Each bunk had a light and a plug. I missed some aircon, only had a fan and one plug; had to make a choice between fan or charger my phone. Clean rooms, lockers provided. Friendly staff who printed a document for me at no cost. One bed was located on top of the bathroom, so if you don't like heights you would be in trouble. Due to it's location there can be a lot of noise from the street but I wore ear plugs which helped. Overall good for the price I paid.

Great hostel, only stayed the one night after arriving at 2am, very convenient late night check in available. Beds create your own space which is good for coming and going from the room. Staff very friendly. Would stay again.
