The hostel is in a great location, easy access to the Metro line and a short walk to the Jewish quarter. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable, with sheets and blankets provided. However, our key cards did not work for the front door as although they advertise 24 hour reception, we were left outside for 10 minutes as no...

I booked a twin room, €110 for 4 nights, very clean and quiet. It's in a old apartment block so no problems with paper thin walls in the "Hungarian Inventions" room. 2 minutes from the Metro, 2 euros to get from the airport on public transport - Easy to use. Excellent location for getting around both on foot and the...

My friend and I stayed in a twin room at Adagio Hostel during our backpacking interrail trip. We saw some great reviews on this site and the price seemed reasonable. We booked the room way in advance to ensure everything was planned and organised during our travels. However, we had multiple problems with the hostel, beginning even before our arrival....

We had a night in this hostel in October. As a couple, we don't like staying in hostels; but this one really changed our mind. When we saw the private room with double bed, it seemed so narrow. But, we changed mind soon after laying over it. The design of the hostel was great, and did not even had any...

We enjoyed our stay at Adagio! The beds were a bit hard and it wasn't a very social atmosphere, but they were about the only things we didn't like. Location was good (within walking distance of all the things we wanted to see), staff were friendly, security was really great, and they have heaps of brochures for walking tours, pub...

Very clean and modern inside, could use a clearer sign on the door at Street level but the rooms are great and it's so cheap. Nicely located on Oktagon which has loads of places to eat and shop and there is a metro stop literally outside.

It's a nice place and it's in the perfect location, near to the Instant and to the train station and metro. You can also eat near to it in a lot of place and the terror museum it's just 200 metres. And Morrison's 2 in so close also. The place was good and clean, the personal were so nice and...

My buddy and I stayed and had the BEST experience with the hostel. Peter really looked after us - helping with bookings and local knowledge; the room was lovely, reasonably priced, well located. Highly recommended!! Doug & Jon JK (cyclists)

Heya, I'm glad you were satisfied with the hostel. It would be a shame to repeat myself, but I hope you (and the bikes) remained intact. Yours, Peter

We were two cyclists looking for a private room, Peter who is there during most mornings and afternoons was so helpful arranging the reservation and afterwards helping us find transportation to the airport that would accept our bikes in boxes. I would highly recommend this hostel to everyone! Thanks so Much Peter!!

Heya, Thanks for the review. Would be really interested in hearing from your further adventures on two wheels. And if the bikes survived the flight intact. Although wrapped and in those boxes... what could go wrong? Come visit us should you be in the vicinity. Yours, Peter

Good hostel, no breakfast included for the price where other hostel were providing breakfast. The kitchen is pretty decent. Beds are comfortable. Very easy to reach the hostel. Very good location. Only problem is you can't sleep late in the morning since the cleaning ladies are very noisy and come and wake you up and keep talking in Hungarian. Hostel...

Dear Ann, Thanks for the review. Since then, we have discussed this issue with our cleaning colleagues and hopefully will not happen too often. Come back any time and check if we managed to improve in this area. :) Yours, Adagio
