Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.

I booked to stay at this hotel regularly for work throughout the month of June. The first room I was given was a huge room that they had given the name of a junior suite, this was not a junior suite at all, it was a very basic, very large bedroom with not a lot else. I asked to be moved immediately and was then given a very small, very claustrophobic room where the air con was broken. After speaking with the Mgr I was finally offered a superior room which was actually very nice. The housekeeping were hell bent on making me work for my requirements, they would leave no towels, no sugar, no cups - not a day went by I didn't have to go and ask for something that wasn't there .. Restaurant in hotel did not open any evenings I was there (I was there a lot in June) but they would ask you to go to a roof top terrace where it was a bit too much like a bar as oppose to somewhere to sit and relax to eat food - not to mention that a lot of evenings saw rain in June !

1) room - Room was nice and clean. However the fact that it has no windows makes it a bit depressing. Our room was on the ground floor, so the only window was looking into the atrium, which is not very comfortable view when all other guests look right into your bed... 2) food - breakfast was delicious. Sparkling wine available is a very nice touch and makes your start of the day even more pleasant. Nothing to complain about. 3) The roof bar/restaurant - You need to change lifts to get there, and we were unlucky that we met other guests on their way too. The last lift is too small and couldn't handle the whole group. Once you arrive, you are welcomed and seated by the staff. Breathtaking view is what you pay for (unfortunately). Drinks and food are overpriced. Food portions were small, prices high, taste - nothing I will remember. 2 meals, 2 drinks for 70€ was a disappointmet and we had to go for a 2nd dinner right after. 3) wellness - cozy small wellness was allmost all the time empty. to point out one thing - the relax beds become very uncomfortable after a longer use. We wanted to enjoy the wellness to the max, so stayed there for half a day and by the end we hated the beds... A deposit of 30€ for a bathrobe was a bit surprising, but money was returned when giving back the robes. (however you need to return the robes back before you check-out, but you still can use the wellness after the checkout, so if you need the robe, you have to pay the deposit again..)

I stayed at this hotel last week for just one night. I must confess that it was the most depressing experience I have ever had in a hotel. I collected some photos I can show everyone. Scary place without the minimum conditions. I just stayed there because I had my payed reservation and it was just to sleep four hours since I had my flight at 3a.m. I was with my husband. Otherwise I would have been scared to stay there alone. Check the pictures. Please someone close this hotel.

We booked a standard double room for a weekend since were no other room types available. Unfortunately was a big disappointment; the room in building B was extremely small , with the windows in the inner "yard" of the hotel...no natural light, no fresh air. The walls near bed were dirty. Except these, all the rest was perfect. Over weekend we could park the car in front of the hotel. All the staff were very friendly, the food was great. Also the location is great closed to the main attractions. There is a roof terrace with a beautiful view- you need prior reservation. The spa with the pool and sauna was great. If I'll go back... probably , but for sure not in a room from building B !
