We loved this hostel and felt privileged to stay there: its fabulously boho decor and the kindness & helpfulness of hostel staff added another dimension to our stay in Budapest. Our room was spacious & comfortable. If you want bland hotel chain type accommodation this is probably not for you, but it suited us ( two vintage bohemians) down to the ground ... and up those flights of stairs, too.
If you look a clean, closed to touristic places and friendly staff in Budapest, you should definetely stay here. You can walk from here wherever you want. We did not take on metro or bus to travel in Budapest.
Loved the location and proximity to the Metro. Very friendly and helpful staff that provided a variety of recommendations of places to visit and eat in the city. Stayed in the apartment, which was plenty of room for the two of us. Could easily accommodate at least one more person. I expected to pay cash for the room, but important to be aware of that in advance (they accept HUF and Euro). There is no elevator, which can be rough if you have heavy bags.
Perfect location for transit, could walk to many areas easily, so many great cafes near-by. Friendly staff, cute rooms (we had an apartment). Very quiet. Lots of stairs, but you get used to them. The art work on the walls added a really lovely touch. The door locks were a bit fussy and the towels weren’t great (they were ok- clean and did the job), just a little small and rough. We’d come back.
Clean rooms, cozy atmosphere and friendly people. This hotel is located in the centre of Budapest and provides a very nice staying. The decoration is great and gives you a relaxed and comfortable feeling. Just have in mind that you need to climb some stairs to get in your room.
