I traveled with my wife and it was comfortable cause rooms of this hostel only for two people. We sticked beds together. The room was clear. But In the corridor smell was bad. Our room had big window and view on the park and the city. This hostel situated near the center and we walked to the sights by feet. Also the price was cheap. And the last point can compensate for a shortcoming of something.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This was honestly the worst place I have ever seen or smelt. The bathrooms were unusable and there was literally a s**t on the floor which remained there (after the so called cleaner had cleaned the bathroom) until we complained about it. Every single bathroom had at least one or several toilets which were closed so you could not use them (note pictures below to imagine how bad they must have been if this toilet was left open), the other toilets ALL had skiddies all over them. Every single bin was over flowing, including in the common areas. The girls bathroom bins were all overflowing with toilet paper, used pads and tampons. We complained about all this and were told it would be cleaned, nothing had been done the next day. I went down again and complained and asked if they get a lot of complaints to which the guy said “yes”. I asked why is it like this then? And pointed out how disgusting it is and he said “I know I live here too” and the other said “what do you want me to do”. It’s very obvious that nobody cares about the cleanliness whatsoever.

Great location, great stuff. The place where you can stay for small amount of money. The center of the town is near, Citadela is also near the hostel. Very peaceful location and good place. Stuff is very helpful. BUT....Big but...Cleanliness of WC is very disappointing, but the room and bathroom in the room (shower) was OK.

What an absolute s**t tip!! Words can’t describe the s**t, literally s**t I seen at this place!! The toilets had not been cleaned since probably back in the 90’s, no toilet roll, only half of them worked and the smell......oh jesus the smell!!!! Took ages to check in as we attempted to pay by card, only to be told that they only accept cash. We were told that the closet ATM is probably a 15-20 minute walk away, and at 1am it’s not really an ideal situation to be in after travelling etc. The staff were not helpful in one way and were very rude. The only plus is every room has a shower, but no towels, not even to rent! To sum up, never visit this hostel as it’s absolutely disgusting, bad location and very bad customer service!! Avoid at all costs, that’s just advice from the local rats!!

Location is a bit out of the way but I can forgive it due to its pricing. What annoyed me about the place though was the general lack of cleanliness. Dust in the rooms, dirty kitchen, frequent lack of toilet paper in communal toilets, etc. Also, the wifi is only available in communal areas, not in the rooms and it is very fickle. A staff member told me and I quote, “it works when it wants to work”. I can attest to this. Sometimes, it just cuts off for 15 minutes at a time which is very frustrating if you’re in the middle of something important. Like I said, if you’re very easy going, this place might be worth staying at due to its cheap pricing however, if you expect things like wifi and general cleanliness, look elsewhere.

Pros: Clean sheets Cons: Everything else. To elaborate the location is kinda far away from anything of significance. You need to buy some tickets for the tram or love walking. The Toilets are horrible at best, with overflowing bins and missing paper. The floor was dirty when we arrived and there was a band-aid in the drain! The communal kitchen is a joke. With posters telling you to please keep the area clean but not even being provided a papertowel. The staff is rude and not very helpful. They just want you to go away. All in all pretty horrible.

Words can't describe the horrible things that one has to endure here. The WC is common and is so dirty that you prefer to piss in a bottle rather than go there (imagine women sitting down!), urine everywhere on the floor, pestilent smell of dejections in the air. The room was extremely small, dirty, old-fashioned, wirh used furniture. The bathroom had no toilet paper, no soap. Long story short: avoid this place!

This has to be the most horrific hostel I have been in. It was dirty, moist, and holy c... the toilets! The staff was not that helpfull, the wifi was bad and you can only pay cash there. Make sure that you have the exact sum of money since they don't have small cash to give back. On the pluss it is very near the center and with a 10- 15 min walk you can get over to the pest side by underground train.

I was definetly disappointed from this hostel. It's basically a student hostel. The people in the reception are nice and helpful, that was the only poistive point. Our room was a twin bed room, it has a fridge and a private shower inside. The room looked clean at first, but after few minutes there we realized there was dust eveeywhere, the window full of spider webs. Impossible to cook anything, the commun kitchen was really dirty. Same thing can be said about the commun toilets, I couldnt use them, no toilet paper, and obviously people don't bother themselves pulling water!! It seems like there is no cleaning service at all, I had to go to Mcdonalds to use proper toilets. The location isn't that great, you need to climb a big Hill to get to the hostel, if you have heavy luggage. You will suffer. The wifi exists, but doesn't reach the rooms. We were trying to spend as much time as possible outside, and go back therw just to sleep, not to mention the noise made by the residents.
