Arrived here with friends and shared a triple room. Very clean but a little snug! Hotel reception very friendly and helpful and breakfast lovely. Some great restaurants close by especially Carne Di Hallen highly recommended!

Very nice boutique hotel in the inner city. Much nicer than staying in one of the big chain hotels. Room was spacious and the hotel is very modern as only built in 2009. Staff are very friendly and the hotel is close to a number of restaurants with good food that are well priced . Would recommend .

The Hotel Palazzo Zichy is an excellent boutique-style hotel. It is in a good location for exploring Budapest, near restaurants, trams, the Metro and shops. The staff could not be more helpful - they were particularly accommodating when our baggage was delayed, lending us a phone charger etc. The reception staff were always helpful and informative and spoke excellent English... We stayed here for 11 nights in July. The hotel was in a lovely older building that has been modernized inside. We requested and got a room on the 5th floor which was quiet and peaceful. The A/C was welcomed after the afternoon heat. All the employees of the hotel we encountered were pleasant, cheerful and helpful (especially Alexandra) in... More

A fantastic hotel, in a quiet location, but ideally located for a stay in Budapest. The staff were polite and courteous, and check-in was very efficient .The hotel itself is modern and has some nice designer touches. The reception area is very welcoming, and the lounge area offers free water, coffee and snacks throughout the day. The breakfast room is... More

This is a stunning, modern hotel and the service is terrific. Also, fabulous breakfast with lots of great breads, fruits and vegetables. The only reason I did not give it the full 5 stars is that it is located a little outside of the center of things which makes the walk a bit of a long one (and made it... More

Why we loved it: 1. Staff were very nice, helpful and professional. They gave good advice and were keen to please. 2. Our room and bathroom were very big and comfortable with a view over the little square outside. Shared areas are also lovely. 3. Lots of little extras - free tea, coffee, bottled water and snacks in the lounge... More

My son and I had a double room on the top floor. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Although the room was a bit small there was plenty of space to unpack. We liked the location. There are good restaurants and bars nearby, and the 4-6 trams are just a block away (Budapest is spread out but the public transportation... More

A wonderful restful sanctuary in a quiet street after a busy day out. A beautiful historical entrance opens up to a modern, welcoming Reception area. We were very happy with Room No. 508 which is on the top floor corner encompassing three large windows which let ample sun and light in. Tastefully decorated in charcoal, red and white. Attention to... More
