The Hotel Palazzo Zichy is an excellent hotel at a reasonable price. It is located on a quiet street that is convenient to all the sights and transportation. It is in a renovated palace and the interior is modern but very comfortable. We paid 170 euro/night ($190 USD) for a junior suite (smallish but comfortable), Good bed, great bathroom, not...

We stayed here for 4 nights to explore Budapest. The hotel was perfect. Staff very helpful & friendly. Great breakfast. Short walk (10-15 mins) to sights and bars. Good little bar opposite for food & drinks if you want to stay local.

On first impression from the outside the hotel does not look too inspiring but once you walk inside the difference is startling. The reception area is warm and welcoming along with the reception staff. Very friendly and obliging with nothing being too much trouble. We were given a room on the 5th floor which was really great. The only snag...

Staff was so great and made our stay here wonderful. Rooms are smaller but clean, comfortable, and great big bathrooms. Breakfast was good too! They have a collection of DVD's that you can borrow which was nice to have at night when going to bed. Free water and coffee in the lounge until 5pm everyday and then a bartender until...

Very friendly staff at check in. We arrived early, and they were able to allow us in to our room early. The staff was able to make a reservation for us prior to our arrival at Borkonyha. Great location, we walked everywhere. We loved that there was water and coffee available in the lobby. I'd definitely recommend this hotel!

This is a beautiful hotel made even better by the wonderful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. They were so polite, caring and helpful without exception. We were given an upgraded room when we arrived and it was gorgeous - modern amenities which blended sympathetically with the old palace. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful with the food always fresh -...

Wonderful hotel with comfortable spacious rooms, tasty breakfast with plenty of choice, friendly and helpful reception staff which all speak English brilliantly. Great complimentary hot drinks and bottled water throughout the...

My friend and I stayed here for a long weekend break 3 nights 4 days. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful, we were allowed to store our luggage until we depart for the airport. Advertised with continental breakfast but there were a large buffet selection i.e. scrambled and fried eggs, sausages, warm pancakes, baked beans, bacon and the whole...

This is probably my favorite hotel in Europe. The location is very central - walking distance to just about every attraction on the Pest side of the city. The room was beautiful - modern with incredibly high ceilings of another era. This complimented the historical refurb of the hotel - mixing the old with the new. The little extras made...

I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and from the moment we arrived to the minute we left, the hotel staff were brilliant. On arrival, we were told our room had been upgraded free of charge. On getting into the room it was big & spacious and we couldn't have asked for much more. The staff were always accommodating...
