I stayed there with a group of friends. We got a very big room with clean beds and bathroom. The wi-fi is very fast and free, and it has access all over the place. The location of the hotel is also very good; it's in the middle of the Rakoczi boulevard. That means you have to walk 15min to the... More

The location is great, only a 10 minute walk from Keleti train station, and the underground station is right outside the door. The majority of ruin bars are just around the corner, as well as a good variety of resturants. The rooms were clean and spacious, with good air conditioning. The interior was good, especially for the budget prices we... More

We arrived Budapest very late but there was someone waiting for us when we got there. When we first got out of the cab I was thinking, "Oh no! What did I get us into?!" It was a little deserted and the building was very old. When we walked through the corridor to the apartment the other building looked like... More

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
