District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.

This apartment ticks ALL the boxes. This is the most comfortable apartment we have ever stayed in. Central to everything. Clinically clean, and spacious. All amenities available. The only negative is that if you want the windows open it is on one of the main “socialising “ streets. There is noise throughout the night and early morning there is the usual delivery / refuse collection noise. I only tell you this for information as it didn’t bother us at all. We slept all night and this type of noise is like background for us it didn’t disturb us at all, but if I was the sort of sleeper that was was easily disturbed I would want to know in advance. We would highly recommend and book again most certainly. By the way, get the hop on hop off bus ticket as it was fabulous.

For a start, the room is the most warmest and most comfortable room i think i have ever stayed in (beating my own), not once was I cold. The bed was so comfortable and slept so well. A shop is directly outside and while it isn’t 24 hour there is one further down that is (just a two min walk). The location is amazing. Everywhere we wanted to go was within 5-15 mins walking distance. The room has little brochures to give ideas of what to do including a map. The shower is so nice and they even provide the shampoo, conditioner and gel. A washing machine is also there and since it is so warm it was so easy to dry! Wifi was excellent! The owners had messaged the morning before I flew out to check for arrival time and also when we landed to give us instructions on what to do upon arrival! We got 100E bus straight from outside airport and the last stop was directly outside the apartment! Just the best place i chouldve stayed at

Had contacted owners 3 times to advise our date and time of arrival, last time was the day before we arrived as I didn’t want to have my issues getting into the apartment. Train arrived 15 minutes late and we went to the apartment as soon as possible. Was raining and no one was at the apartment complex to let us in and we were stuck outside in the rain. Waited around and finally phoned the contact number and was told the number no longer belonged to them and had changed over a year ago. Waited for over half an hour and in the end went to a coffee place to get internet access to contact Expedia to see what the issue was. After an all day train trip, we did not appreciate being mucked around. Finally got internet access and was trying to work out how to contact someone when the owner phoned and though difficult to understand, was told someone was at the apartment and if we didn’t turn up they would leave. Rushed to the apartment to find a boy there who had been off doing his own thing and hadn’t worried about us. Very annoyed and frustrated being left out in the rain with no one there to meet us, wrong number on the site so we couldn’t contact owners and then being told to get to apartment ASAPor boy would leave. Wouldn’t bother with this apartment even though is in a good area. Would prefer to pay more an know someone is there to meet us. Would also help if the heated towel rails worked.

My wife & I stayed at the Paprika Apartment for 3 nights at the beginning of March 2019. The studio apartment is exceptionally well appointed with everything you may need, there's even a washing machine, airer, ironing board & iron for those wishing to stay longer. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the double bed was very comfortable. The location of the apartment could not be better, with trams, buses & metro (underground railway) on the doorstep and within comfortable walking distance to The Danube where trips on the river are available. The City Park is about a 5 minute walk if you fancy a trip on the Budapest Eye (a huge Ferris Wheel). Restaurants, Bistros, Coffee Shops, etc., are all within easy walking distance as is the vibrant night life; we're both retired so we left the very late night life for the youngsters to enjoy. The owners of the apartment are truly delightful people and will arrange, for a small fee, to organise your transfer from & to the airport. We would strongly recommend using this excellent service. I had sadly booked a car to pick us up from Budapest airport through a famous UK travel web site, big mistake! It would be wrong to say the driver didn't show up because he did, but he arrived 1 hour and 25 minutes late, after many stress & anxiety ridden telephone calls to his company! Needless to say we used the apartment owner's transfer service to return to the airport and it was first class, absolutely faultless. Will we return to Budapest? Unequivocally yes! So much to see and do, a long weekend barely scratches the surface. Will we return to the Paprika Apartment? Most certainly! It is a real home from home, clean, comfortable and perfectly situated. Will we use the apartment owner's airport transfer service from & to the airport in future? Without any shadow of doubt yes! It was just so pleasant. The Paprika Apartment is in our view a 5 Star apartment.
