The hotel was excellent. Perfect location. Very clean. Room service was cleaning on daily basis. Staff was very friendly and helpful. In the middle and Near to everything. Reception 24/7. Everything was perfect. Very highly recommended..
I first stayed at 7 Seasons Budapest in 2014 and have never looked back since. Everything feels much more like you’re actually at a house, with drawers, a kitchenette... what more could you ask for? There are televisions in every room, and the beds are great as well. It’s probably the one place where you could forget you were in an apartment hotel and think you lived in this place for a long time! I am very pleased with the customer service as well. Thanks!
Hungary has closed borders, UK government advise against travel. Jet2 cancelled and refunded flights. Hungary inaccessible. NO REFUND FROM THIS HOTEL OR HOTELS.COM. Voucher only but have increased prices by over 60%. Requested like for like booking for the same week in 2021, refused and only offered a voucher that was unusable for the only dates we can go and unaffordable due to price increase. This is a very difficult situation on both sides, it is reasonable to move a booking forward 12 months it is good customer service. Offering a voucher is just hedging a bet that it more than likely won’t be used and illegally keeping my money. I will never use Hotels.com again and would not stay at this hotel when I eventually manage to go to Budapest on holiday.
My friend and I visited for 5 days and stayed in the apartments. It was just everything we needed! Was the perfect size with a balcony and definitely worth every penny! The staff were so lovely and helpful and made sure that we knew everything we needed to know. Was In the most perfect location with only a 5 min walk down to the river! Was very clean and felt very safe.
We booked to stay for a long weekend after seeing the pictures and deciding that it looked the best place for us. Positive points are that it is in a very good location close to the city centre and the apartments are modern. The staff were friendly when checking in and it was hassle free. Unfortunately things got bad from there. When entering the room it was unbearably hot and when turning the A/C on to cool the room down all it did was blow out hot air regardless of the temperature set. We reported this and they sent a handy man to solve the issue. Even after this it was still coming out warm and wasn’t working as it should. As well as this there were no free refreshments in the room such as tea or coffee and one of the glasses provided on the table were dirty. Our room was only cleaned 1 day out of our 4 night stay, had to go to reception to get clean towels and toilet paper as nothing had been changed or replaced. During the time we went the pandemic was just starting and the staff just blamed these issues on this, but failed to communicate anything before we were forced to complain. Breakfast was average and the last 2 days was changed from buffet to A La Carte set menu, but again this wasn’t communicated until we actually went for breakfast and saw there was no buffet. Overall we were disappointed in the lack of communication about the current situation and the service that was provided. Due to the price of the apartment we could have booked somewhere else and got a much better service. …
