To me, as one that likes his personal space, bed and breakfasts sometimes lack the anonymity I sometimes crave. With Ron and Ryan, they are very accessible and yet didn't make me feel as if I was encroaching on their personal space. To me this is an important balance. I'll be back in Budapest one day. When I visit again,...

What a great place to stay! Centrally located, with amazing hosts. Would recommend to anybody visiting Budapest- for the great city and the even better accommodation. Ryan and Ron have the best suggestions and are extremely catering to the needs of the people staying with them. We had a great time!

It was so good to see you again. Having guests who return is a pleasant way to know we are doing something right. We missed your mom this time, but you brought another charming young lady with you. Enjoy your European studies. Maybe we will see you again in the future. Rx2

We spent a week of sightseeing and visiting with our daughter, studying abroad. Ron and Ryan were generous and fun, their place spacious and comfortable.Their recommendations were universally spot on. We ate the best food, both gourmet and street fare. Saw a traveling Pulitzer exhibit, four museums, an opera preview, cello recital, underground hospital, various memorials, the big market, one...

We are so grateful for McDaniel College having put us in their student orientation packet. Knowing what we know now, it would have been an incredible loss had we not met. We had more laughs with you two than we have had in ages. We miss you!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at BudaBaB. The location is handy for walking and close to the underground. The flat is cheerfully decorated with handcrafted items and art from the hosts' world travels. Breakfast was a delightful time to visit and plan our day. Hosts Ryan and Ron were just super. They are full of information about their city, and...

Ryan and Ron were thoughtful and attentive hosts. Their apartment is in an exciting neighborhood with food, bars, entertainment and metro lines just steps away. The room is charming--I bragged about it to my friends. And they were happy to answer any and all questions, even helping to arrange transportation to the airport. The prices can't be beat. I would...

Warm hospitality, comfortable B&B accommodation and expert advice in a lovely old 4th floor apartment with elevator, conveniently near to the Lizst Ferenc Academy where we were performing with the European Doctors Orchestra. Thanks Ron and Ryan. Recommended.

Thank you, Paul, for your kind review. We were delighted to host you, your wife, and also very musical friend. Although you spend much time perfecting your program for the orchestra, we had a grand time at table in the mornings! Happy trails to you and yours.

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
