I travelled here with a group of friends. I would normally stay at the Continental Hotel Zara along the road but we were on a budget and so thought here would suit. Location wise you cannot fault this hotel. As for the hotel itself, I would never return. Check in: I booked two twin rooms and a double for 5...

We specifically chose this hotel because of the fantastic location and the great deal we found online. So price/value is top notch. However, this is not a 4 star you would find in Western Europe, it's more of a typical 3 star one. The service at the front desk was great, whenever we had issues they solved it right away....

The reception was lovely, kind and helpful. It's location was convenient, because the bus stop for the hop on hop off bus was just 100 metres further. The rooms were clean. But the breakfast could be better, perhaps a little bit more of variation would make it more pleasant. Special compliments to Mr. Jonatan Molnar Miler, he made sure that...

This hotel is very central to all of the attractions. It's across the road from the New York Cafe. Bus stop at the end of road & trams stops too. The welcome was very warm from the moment we arrived. The reception booked us in quickly, organised a bus tour, the thermal baths and advised us about transport. The rooms...

Really close to all main attractions; with the first bus stop at the end of the street. Close to bars and restaurants. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was good!...

The hotel was perfect for a short stay in Budapest. Me and boyfriend stayed for three nights. The hotel is small but we didn't spend a lot of time in it. Perfect location it's within walking distance of everything Christmas markets were a 15/20 min walk everything else is beside it. Enjoyed our stay

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
