Everyone needs a place to lay their weary head. For travelers visiting Radovljica, Hiša Linhart is an excellent choice for rest and rejuvenation. Well-known for its romantic environment and proximity to great restaurants and attractions,Our house dates from the 17th century from the Renaissance and Baroque period. It has been entirely renovated and the first guests were welcomed in April 2017. The Baroque are was a time of abundance, enjoyment and renaissance. Experience sweet, chocolate, baroque Radol'ca! The appearance of Hiša Linhart is inseparably linked to Anton Tomaž Linhart, Radovljica's most well-known resident (1756-1795). Linhart was the first Slovenian playwright and the founder of Slovenian historiography. You can find out about his life and work at a permanent exhibition in the Municipal Museum in the Radovljica Manor. Hiša Linhart Restaurant by chef UrošŠ Chef Uroš Štefelin began his independent path in the Vils Podvin rural restaurant with rooms, where he strives to unite local suppliers and restaurateurs and to develop, research and upgrade traditional dishes into NOUVELLE SLOVENIAN CUISINE. In doing so, such dishes will be preserved for future generations. In 2020 the Gault & Millau guide named Uroš Štefelin as the 'Best Chef of Traditional Cuisine'. Uroš's cuisine is traditional with a love of home, quality and freshness as well as care for a healthy and bright future. In addition to Vila Podvin, chef Uroš Štefelin is now turning his attention to LHiša Linhart in Radovljica. It is his desire that enjoying food should, above all, be SOCIABLE and FUN, and that guests can toy with flavours, textures and aromas and taste the SIMPLICITY and GREATNESS of SLOVENIAN INGREDIENTS AND FOOD. And, as an added convenience, there is free public parking available nearby. During your visit, be sure to check out popular attractions like Radovljica Old Town (0.0 mi), Sivec House Gallery (0.0 mi), and St Peter's Church (0.1 mi), which are all within walking distance of the inn. Linhart Hotel is sure to make your visit to Radovljica one worth remembering.

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming hotel/bistro in old town Radovlijica. Room 2 looked out over the square. This is not a quiet room but being in the middle of old town we didn't expect it to be. The room was comfortable with plenty of storage for your things. It has a good hot shower. There are several really nice restaurants in the area. The girls running the place were all really friendly and helpful. The bistro within the hotel is also very good and breakfasts were outstanding. The only issue with this place is that parking is not readily available. The place the hotel recommended offered free parking from 5pm to 9am otherwise you had to move your car after 3 hours. We did find a different place on google that was a 7 minute walk that was free. There is a bus stop in the entrance to old town so if you're using a bus that isn't a problem. All in all a great experience.

Lovely hotel in the middle of Radovljica
We spent a week at the Linhart hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is relaxed and homely. The rooms are characterful, ours had wooden beams and was very spacious. Breakfast is good, it’s a buffet plus eggs to order. There is a cafe on-site for snacks and drinks throughout the day as well as various places to eat within close walking distance of the hotel. Overall it’s a very reasonably priced hotel and a great place to stay when visiting the Bled area.

    Perfect Bistro Lunch
We were very pleased with lunch and service in a Hotel Bistro, very high level and delicious food, similar to Vila Podvin. Small but very nice ambient in the old center of Radovljica town. The waiter was very friendly, with a good feeling for the guests and with a lot of knowledge about their menu and wines. Recommend.

The little town Radovljica is near to the tourist village Bled and has a beautiful fairy tale old town part. On the main street - in a likewise charming and beautifully renovated house - you'll find Hisa Linhardt. It is really a gorgeous restaurant (one Michelin star) with an "attached" hotel. Don't just go here for a bed and breakfast; you must try their excellent cooking. Which I have reviewed separately here on TA (https://www.tripadvisor.se/Restaurant_Review-g274879-d23569931-Reviews-Hisa_Linhart_Restavracija_Hotel-Radovljica_Upper_Carniola_Region.html) The old and renovated - simple yet elegant - house (and yes, hisa means house) have some hotel room individually decorated and of different sizes. Comfortable beds (more narrow in some rooms: check with the staff if this is a concern) all standard amenities and AC present. Since Hisa Linhardt is a top class restaurant you can expect an excellent breakfast. Not really cheap, but affordable and well worth the money - especially in conjunction with a dinner experience. Skip the rather tourist trap:ish Bled hotels and restaurants and go the 6 km to Radovljica and Hisa Linhardt instead. You will not be disappointed. Very much recommended!

We made a reservation online noting gluten-free needs, and when I had to change due to airline issues I didn't mention that again. I think they also have normal service with menus (I didn't realize it) but I had unknowingly made a reservation for tasting plates/pre-planned brunch. We weren't feeling great that morning and asked to delay lunch for an hour which they said ok to. That was very generous because we didn't realize the reservation was for something pre-planned. So 5 tired travelers arrive late and surprise the chef with the gluten-free needs and they proceed to serve us a wonderful meal despite all of that. It was beautifully presented and delicious. It was top-tier dining in a beautiful cozy little restaurant. We appreciate their kindness after we disrupted their morning with our misunderstandings!

Michelin restaurant located in the old city centre. Exelent local and slovenian traditional food and service! Go for the chef's tasting menu with slovenian wine pairing, it is worth your time. All the rooms are also renovated and very cosy.

A modern environment in a centuries old building. The attention to details shows in all aspects of both the hotel and restaurant. We stayed in Rm#10 for 3-nights. Wish it were longer! Went with the 9-course Chefs Gourmet Getaway with wine pairing for one of the nights. We were completely blown away by each and every course. They allow per glass or half glass pairings which is VERY accommodating. The room is really a special place and is shown on their website. There are two full baths, dresser, hutch, sprawling couch and firm mattress on the queen bed and gourmet breakfast. Separate comforters were a nice touch. All in all, don't pass up an opportunity to stay and bask in this one-of-a-kind experience when anywhere near the area.

We dined here last week. Odličen. (Excellent.) A long, delicious lunch in a great space with great service. The food was an elevated Slovenian but not fussy. Very refined but not complicated as an experience. Each dish had a story. I could say a lot about our lunch, so detailed and so much care into each course. We loved it. I’d like to go back and spend more time in Radovljica. I had never been there and the restaurant is in the heart of it where it is pedestrian only. Very cute town. Goodness all around.

We never made it to Vila Podvin so were delighted to visit the new hotel of this well known chef. We ate at lunchtime where there is a set menu for around 29 euros. In the evening there are more choices for different prices. It was so good we went back the following day, however as there are limited options on the menu we will probably give it a miss for a while. Everything we had was delicious and well thought out. Lovely to sit outside in the characterful centre of this historical town. The chocolate and strawberry pudding was a particular high point ( actually so was the local cheese board and the salmon...I could go on). Slovenian wine offerings were also good, rarely makes it outside the country to the UK .

Our travel company had booked this hotel for us as part of our cycle trip through Slovenia so we weren’t expecting to be, as we were, completely blown away by the FABULOUS food we had for dinner there. We went in July and now, in September, we’re still raving to friends about the amazing food. We had been to one of Tom Kerridge’s restaurants the previous year…but I think this was better. The flavours and the combinations seemed both unusual and utterly delicious. You should go 😀

Ever had a five course (or 7 or 9) chef menu with wine accompaniment in the middle of a busy Slovenian pedestrian area? No? Then Hisa Linhart is the place to go! Excellent food and wines from the region (3 of 4 Falstaff forkes) at affordable price.

We made lunch reservations well in advance (1,5 months) but they somehow lost our reservation. Luckily I had sms confirmation and only then we were able to have a table for 5. We ordered aperitifs and they came in glasses that still had labels from the manufacturer on the part of the glass that you drink from. Nobody seemed to notice that. There was also some problem with ordering drinks as they did not listen to us and bring us correct drinks. We had a 7 course Chef's menu and the food was amazing and well thought through.  Every dish was in some way special and also the 3 dessert part was amazing. What we missed was a proper explanation of a dish. Food is still worth a Michelin star, but service is seriously lagging behind. Which is a pity and a disgrace for a restaurant of this level.
