We asked for and a got a room with sea view, which is nice thing when you wake up in the morning. I would not choose any room, without sea view. Room is small and furniture is from the 80s. you get a TV but it is so small it screams that it is there only to fulfill 2 star... More

It has OK location close to center - 5min of walking down the steep hill. DOnt forget that what comes down, must come up :) The rooms are small, old, with small window, and smell that comes from wet bathroom. Its OK if you want to get drunk and sleep over... otherwise not recommended. Breakfast are OK, that is positive... More

I traveled to Portoroz in August this year. I was very disappointed regarding the comfort of the room. The hotel looks like what wd could fine in the hears 1960's .It was a single room. The bed'size is 1,90m lenght and 85 width. I'm 1,87m tall. No airco with an inner temperature of 30!! On the webside it is mentionned... More

Not enough parking spaces, the standard is ok for 2 stars, its really small, but well. Still, it is a bad choice, please sprnd some mor on another hotel, its small, loud, poor quality, and for what is offered, very expensive. Good thing: nice staff. But really, thats it.

I know it is a budget room. But the door to the terrace was closed with a rope. We could not leave anything in there and feel safe and the staff did not do anything. Checked out after one hour and found an alternative! They have to do better to get visitors and great reviews in the future.

I am not entirely sure what I experienced but i am genuinely surprised this type of lodging still exists. For an apartment to have enough hot water for one seems inadequate. The beds were below every standard as well as the rooms. Doors in the shower were broken etc. everything feels cramped and claustrophobic. Nonetheless it was worth the experience.... More

If you are not looking for a room on a beach and for reasonable price, Maestral will be just fine for you. It hapens often I need a one night room, as it was the case in Portoroz. For a reasonable price 31 euros you get small one bed room, with a modest interior, but clean and nice. Staff at... More

For a hotel with 2 stars, I expected poor quality and that is exactly what you get. The room was small but it has nice view to the sea. The beds werent very comfortable but they didnt squeak. The TV in the room was about 22'' in size, with decent reception. The shower was ok, but flushing the toilet was... More

It's a nice enough guesthouse. Cheaper than most in the area, nice continental breakfast, outdoor seating in restaurant with lovely views of the ocean, free WiFi, close to portoroz town and bus stops, but what they fail to mention on their website or any other booking site is that it is at the top of a very long, very steep... Stayed here for a night this summer. The place looks alright from the outside but the room I stayed in was very small and looked worn down. One of the plugs looked burnt and wasn't working and there was no aircon in my room, however there was a fan. The floor was a bit broken and there was a bug... More
