I would like to say a huge huge thank you to Andreja and to every last person in her wonderful team at The Tartini Hotel. They combined to create our perfect wedding day. Words will never express the depth of gratitude Jo and I feel towards you all. Your attention to detail was impeccable, the food was wonderful, your location... More

The Hotel Tartini is a fantastic little hotel in the main square of Piran. You could not get more central. The welcome is warm and sincere and the reception desk staff were incredibly helpful particularly in explaining how parking works in Piran - do not take you car into Piran - leave in the multistorey car park just outside town... I booked two nights at hotel Tartini for my family and for our two friends, since it had a good rating on Tripadvisor. But we were a bit disappointed. Firstly the reception didn't find our bookings which wasn't a big deal to us, just not a good first impression, then they gave the wrong key to our friends making them... More

The good news is that the Tartini is right in the center of Piran, the breakfast was good, the staff nice, and the 5th floor room had a balcony open to the sky along with a sliver of sea view. The bad news is that the room was perhaps 9'x10' and the bed mattress was awful. Just because of the... More

The hotel is located in the main square of Piran. Very easy to get there. The staff is really helpful and always ready to help guests. Negative points: the rooms dont have a nice view ( the view from my window was the kitchen of an house! ) . There were no courtains, so at 5 am there was already... More

Thank you very much for your contribution. It is true that our triple rooms do not have the same magnificent view as the rooms facing the overwhelming Tartini Square or rooms with balcony which face the little town port. However, rooms are spacious. I also do understand that you needed three plugs for the appliances, in such cases, we are... More

Located on the main square in Piran which also happens to be near the marina. Hotel is in a fantastic spot with nice views and walking distance to plenty of restaurants. Outside architecture of building is lovely. Inside, the rooms are a little tired but clean with ample space and a balcony. Unfortunately, when we stayed here, the a/c was... More

Thank you very much for your contribution and sorry about the A/C. The days of your stay were the first acutally warm days of the season and the A7C system was not ON yet. The nights were still not too hot and hopofully ispite of some noise you had the possiblity to catch some hours of quality sleep. Andreja Frelih,... More

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Not because it was super-luxurious, but it had everything that I want from a hotel. The location is amazing. I flung open the bedroom widow to reveal the main square of Piran at my feet. The centre of the town is traffic-free, and so quiet with a wonderful... More

Thank you very much for your contribution. We definitely agree with you regardin the location and cyclists are very much welcome in hotel Tartini. Since we were able to arrange a bikes storage room last winter to ensure everyone arriving with a bicycle a safe place to store a bike right in the centre of town on Tartini Square, I... More

large room, very clean but with the ugliest furniture you will ever see. I can just imagine a crazy designer in New-York wanting this for a weird client. It was fun anyway. If you are fussy about what the room looks like, this may not be for you. We had a great time regardless.

Thank you very much for your comment. Acutally I think it is a very sweet and straight one. The furniture is rally "like" or "don't like" and nothing inbetween. However, we do have clients who just fall in love with it. If nothing else, this is a challenge to all future visitors to come and check for them selves. A... More

we recently stayed for 2 nights in early May at the somewhat quirky Hotel Tartini. our room ( # 310 ) was quiet and clean (though somewhat cramped) with a small balcony and a terrific view of the water. this hotel has a lot of personality and the staff are very personable and helpful. there are various outdoor seating areas... I'll state from the outset that I really liked this hotel. This was our final destination of a five day bike ride from Ljubljana to Piran. The welcome was so friendly by the red haired lady who spoke very good English that we immediately felt we were at a decent place. She helped to store the bikes, arranged keys and... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Tartini is a superbly located 3*hotel in the centre of Piran, directly on Tartini Square, overlooking the town cathedral of St. George, the town wall and the small harbour called "mandrač". Rooms are either facing the square ot the harbour (with balconies in those overlooking the harbour). Singles, doubles, twins and a couple of family rooms available. Clients love the terraces, from where one can enjoy the views of Piran and the Piran bay for hours. During the summer months, a coctail and wine bar is open on the roof-terrace for hotel clients and visitors. Definitely one of the most beautiful spots in Piran.Since parking is always a topic in Piran, hotel offers significant discount for the parking in the central garage in front of the town centre. There is a free mini bus commuting between the parking and the Tartini Square regularly. And still, clients can enter the town centre with the car to unload the luggage and then park safely in the garage. ... more   less
