Situated on the foothills of Pohorje in the southern part of Maribor, Hotel Bajt-Garni is a 5-minute drive to the town centre and to the ski centre. All rooms are air-conditioned and feature an LCD cable TV, a work desk and a bathroom with bath or shower. Buffet-style breakfast is served each morning while vending machines with refreshments and snacks are featured as well. If you enjoy cycling, there are numerous mountain and forest paths as well as downhill slopes. In the winter season you can go skiing and snowboarding. There are numerous picturesque waterfalls and forest clearings where you can take a walk or organise a picnic. Cars, trailers and buses can be parked on the on-site parking.

I stayed here for 2 nights in September 2022. I had asked for a room with a quiet location and got that. The room was very nice and clean. I slept well here. The breakfast is excellent, there is plenty to choose from. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. Clean, organized, great breakfast and very friendly staff. Kids had a lot of fun. Very good location, very close to the center. Free parking, free charging for EVs and wifi Will sure come back next time we are in Maribor. Alex D.

Lady at the front desk was very friendly and smiling. She was also next day at breakfast. Room was with big bed, fantastic breakfast (5 stars), wonderful sauna place with music. For me was also very important free electric charger for my Tesla! I recommend and come back again.

We were driving to Croatia and wanted to stay somewhere in Maribor for the night - this hotel proved to be a perfect place. It is very easily reachable from the highway, the owners are very friendly, the rooms are very clean and well-maintained, the breakfast was great, with a nice view (as it is served in a sort of a winter garden). It is close enough to the old town of Maribor, which is lovely and definitely worth a visit. I strongly recommend this hotel, either for a nice stop on the way, or for a weekend in Maribor.

The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, the staff is excellent and friendly. The rooms are tidy and very clean. Great choice of food for breakfast. Free parking. Tourist attractions and shopping malls are only a few kilometers away from the hotel.

Simple rooms, but the staff was very friendly. Possibility to park in front of the house. Basic but sufficient breakfast. There is a drink vending machine available 24h/24. Situated close to city center and industrial area.

Nice staff, clean, new and breakfast over the expected for the price tag. Quiet area, little traffic, no problems with parking. A place I would recommend to travelers. They allowed me to park the motorbike inside, which I really appreciate.

I absolutely love Maribor! If my husband declared we were leaving the UK and had to go to live abroad Maribor would be my first choice. In fact I just love Slovenia. It is such a lovely, laid back place. A bit like the UK 20 years ago when people had time for one another. Anyway, this hotel is about a 50 minute walk from the town centre so a bit of a trek but you can catch the number 6 bus outside the hotel for less than a couple of euros. The staff at the hotel and very friendly and helpful, rooms are basically furnished and I would say slightly dated but they are absolutely immaculate. The breakfast is good, cereal, bread, meats, cheese etc. Don't expect a full English breakfast as you'll be disappointed. You can get eggs any which way you like though. And of course, a cappuccino! I would certainly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.…

I purposely selected the smallest room in the hotel and was very happy with my choice. Yes. It was small, but I was only sleeping there! The manager apologized for the small room but I explained that it was exactly what I wanted. My only complaint was a weird shower handle that sprayed everywhere. When I told him about it, he immediately jumped into gear to have it replaced. The breakfasts were sumptuous and a hot breakfast was there for the asking. The breakfast staff were disappointed that I didn't request one! All were very helpful and I'd highly recommend Hotel Bajt. I would recommend having a car available as the hotel is located in a residential area, not near the city attractions.

We came for the Maribor / Liverpool game, me and my 13th son. Location wise it’s just out of town but only a short cab ride away. Staff were really friendly and helpful, rooms are fairly basic but were good for the price and had everything you needed. Parking was free and breakfast tasty the next morning. Maribor and Slovenia really is a beautiful place. Thank you Hôtel Bajt
