Detailed Reviews
A warm welcome and shot of blueberry liqueur awaited us at Budja. We stopped here on the way to Budapest and chose it for being close to the highway exit. We drove to Maribor to visit and have dinner, but it was a ghost town! We probably should have had dinner at Budja as we only found pubs open in decadent Maribor.

We travelled to Lubliana and it was really good choice to stop for the night. The owners are very friendly and welcome drink was little but very likeable details. The place is clean and cozy – we have advices and recommendation from the owner how to spend the time in Maribor. Hotel is located near to bus stop, and despite there is not placed in the centrum of city- the taxi I still affordable.

Nicely redecorated and refurnished rooms. Tasteful breakfast and dinner. Very friendly staff. Welcome drink-blueberry liqueur. Comfortable bed. High speed WiFi. We really felt like at home. I highly recommend this venue for over-night stay, it's a great value for money.

The breakfast was great with a lot of different things to choose from, staff super friendly and helpful on what to see in Maribor. The room was very clean with a nice bathroom, but we used the room only for sleeping, all other time we spend on trips to and around Maribor for what the location of the house is great!

Cosy room with a comfortable bed and air condition. Bathroom small but fine, clean. Very tasty breakfast. Thing that makes the stay perfect is owner's attitude, very kind and friendly. Absolutely recommend this place for a stop during journey.

The hotel was clean, modern, full of all the things you need during your stay and really close to center (15mn by bus, 10 by car). Breakfast really good (they prepare everything fresh for that day).
Staff: the owner was really nice with us and he made our stay even better. It is visible how nice person he is (and all the staff too) and how he wants you to feel comfortable there.
Dog friendly (the owner loved our dog and there is no problem at all to bring the dog to the breakfast place or wherever else)
We will come back for sure.
Buy their homemade liqueur, it is amazing!!

Exceptional people, very primitive and hospitable people, especially Tina, who received us and accommodated very quickly, then we were served with dinner and local drinks. Tina speaks perfect English. The rooms were clean, we had parking and I got a bottle of a bottle present for a drink!

Their slogan says it all. It starts with the welcome drink upon arrival, continues with great service and clean rooms and, in our case, ends with a yummy breakfast before going on the road again.
We came well after official opening hours due to traffic and the host still waited for us and greeted us with a smile.
The rooms are clean and new (or recently renovated) and there is more than enough space to put your luggage.
There is even a fridge in the hallway! I asked the host why and he explained that it is there for the guests. I've never seen that anywhere else and I think it's a great idea!
We are definitely stopping there again next year!
