We were very happy because this restaurant treats dogs really good. Our dogs got water and also dog treats when we came and when we left. The food was also ok. Tasty and at moderate prices. I had green asparagus soup, trout and butter potatos and some apple strudel for dessert. Nice experience.

We took 2 rooms for our family of four, and the value was reasonable for the area. One room had a jacuzzi within the bedroom itself, which was odd for a family but the other room was comfortable. Presumably you can select the type of room you want but we preferred to stay in these adjoining rooms. The location is a few miles outside the town centre but still just a shortish drive and the best we could find for the money at short notice. We paid for breakfast, Euros 7 each, which isn’t expensive but we expected a little more, including a hot meal. Instead it was just cold cuts apart from a very simple omelette on request. They did fry me some bacon though when I protested. Service generally though was good and friendly.

I visited Mlada Lipa from August 23rd to September 3rd this year and I had a wonderful time there! The location itself is nice, it lays about 10 minutes away from Pohorje (the mountain, or hill). We were assigned Room 14: flatscreen tv, air conditioning, a shower cabin in the bathroom, two beds, two chairs and a small table to boot! Wifi worked well for me. The price you pay (low) for the portions you get (large) is really crazy! I liked how their breakfast timeframe is basically a mini-buffet augmented by the option to have various coffees/teas and omelettes, with the possible addition of ham and cheese, all for just E6,00! The staff is very friendly, always ready to advise additional meals too. One morning we were up rather late and the buffet had already been removed but the waiter told us to have a seat and then basically built a mini-buffet on our table. If that isn't customer service, then I don't know what is! I wholeheartedly recommend Mlada Lipa as place to stay for your Maribor vacation and I would once again like to thank the amazing staff for their service, I had a great time there! Cecilio

Staff is very kind, they have awesome food and nice place just before Pohorje, located by the main road on the right. Also, great for family lunch. We tried chicked rolls, pork rolls and pasta, all of them great.

I have been many times at Lipa in the past year while working in Slovenia. The environment is very clean and customer oriented, it is a pleasure to come back every time. The rooms are spacious and clean, however the best part remain the restaurant where the chef is often present asking personally for any particular request you might have. If you are around a visit is a must!

Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean, beds comfortable (real mattress). Breakfast was included and came with fresh eggs (scrambled or sunny side up) per request. Price is affordable. Location is excellent, just at the bottom of Pohorje mountain (10 minute walk from hotel to cable car). Also, 10 minute drive to Maribor city center.

Room Tip: Economy room is in ceiling loft so it'd very small for tall people, but we managed just fine.
