Detailed Reviews
The Hotel is in the center of Ljubljana, and this is the most interesting aspect! The rooms are untreated and there were no lamps in our room and the bed was noisy. The power outlets were old. The price is excellent, just a little attention would be enough to make it a recommended place.
Another problem is parking, consider between € 8 and € 15 a day for a nearby car park. Otherwise there are car parks outside the city that are a bit cheaper and include a bus service. Staff helpful and very kind

The hotel arranged my taxi from the airport, which made the journey very simple. Check in was easy and friendly.
My room was basic but fairly large with a good sized, clean en suite. It was a little threadbare, but very clean. The bed was comfortable. There was a table and chairs which were a little wobbly and hard, but functional. The bedside lights were, however, deep red, which made reading in bed a little difficult.
The location is excellent, about 5 minutes' walk from the three bridges and riverside sights and restaurants.
Overall I recommend this place for travellers on a budget. I wouldn't choose it if you're planning on spending a lot of time relaxing in the room, and it's not terribly romantic, but for a base to see the city (and further afield) it's ideal.

Stayed at the Viva rooms apartments with my wife, and were given a set of rooms right behind the reception and could hear all telephone calls ,all the conversations of guests coming in and out of the building.
The bathroom was very small , and I had a problem with the shower, as I am 6.1 and had to squeeze against the shower wall to open the shower door ,to get in and out.
The location is first class, only a short stroll to the old town triple bridges, and many food outlets along the way.

Need new management because they do not care about customer health. Asked for a refund for hotel room due to illness, and only asked for it 3 days after booking. They said I either have to show up or lose my money. They are willing to put other guests at risk of sickness as well. And this is on a busy weekend in Ljubljana where they are sold out and can easily find another customer, or book me for another weekend. They care more about the €€ than customer health and safety.
Avoid at all cost.

I am totally disappointed with the customer service. Make the reservation through Booking. For personal reasons, I changed my mother's date when I requested the date change, they approved it with a surcharge, I made a mistake when entering the date and they did not want to change it anymore, even though the app tells me that it has availability.
I recommend that you look for another option.

This is a hostel/boarding house. Felt uncomfortable walking into building. Receptionist said it was guest house however when booking it was classed as 3/ 4star hotel. Photos on Web are enhanced to look more modern. Rooms felt old, dirty and noisy. Not elevators, no AC only a fan.

Most terrible experience ever. Hotel texted me I was not able to check in. While we were underway. Furthermore they will refrain from a refund because “they tried to call me and did not pick up the phone”. Very very unprofessional team. Luckily we found a very nice place for cheaper in the same street. Not the best option!

Fantastic city to visit and Viva Rooms typify the smart, simple and friendly approach in Slovenia. Great value rooms which are comfortable and with modern styling in an older building which is a two minute walk from the centre and all the sites. Staff were super helpful and provided a vast array of local information. Great location, fantastic price in a cool chic hotel and city.

We stayed in the one-bedroom apartment for 3 nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the apartment is in a perfect location, only a few minutes walk to the three bridges as well as the main bus station. The apartment has everything you need, the bathroom seems very new and the everything was super clean.
However, the "dining table" that is facing the wall was not very welcoming to eat. The couch was old and squeaky and the bed was not comfortable at all. The apartment is located right next to the reception which gives you great WIFI but also non-stop talking (with guests or colleagues) all day. In general, the building is quite old, so expect to hear everything.
It was still very nice and perfect for a short stay in the city center.

Very good location, close to the station and the city center. Bed not good, shower is fine, although no amenities. Receptionist very kind and lovely. For me, almost 40 euros for a single stay one night is expensive, but I couldn't find something cheaper in that day. They need to use aromatizer in the room and in the bathroom, weird smell.

Dear Wil H,
thank you for showing interest in our transfer offer and day trips.
The cost of the transfer from the airport is 35,00 EUR for 1-3 people or 10,00 EUR/person for a group larger than that.
As far as our day trips are concerned, we offer »a la carte« day trips, meaning we can take you anywhere you would like to go. The price for the trip is:
- 140,00 EUR for 1-2 people, every further person pays additional 40,00 EUR
One trip, we can recommend, would be to The Alps and the Triglav national park. There we have a number of options to see, specialy known Lake Bled and also Lake Bohinj, as well as the Savica Waterfall and the Vintgar Gorge. The second option would be the Karst region. At this point we can see either the Postojna Cave along with the Predjama Caste, or the Škocjanska cave. There is another point of interest called Cerknica Lake, the largest disappearing lake in Slovenia, which enraptures visitors with numerous interesting natural phenomena and diverse flora and fauna. The third offer would be the Mediterranean region. There is a natural reserve with a rich fund of marl and sandstone and the unique, eighty-meter Strunjan cliff. Also the Sečovlje Salina, first mentioned in the 13th century, and the nearby is a sanctuary for more than 150 bird species. Here the towns of Piran, Izola, and Koper draw visitors with their medieval cores, while Portorož offers numerous modern hotels with congress halls, a fully equipped marina, a sport airport, thermal baths, a casino, and a varied offer of summer cultural, entertainment, and sport events.
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us again.
Kind regards,
Anja Sedlar
