There are many good things about this hotel, it’s comfortable, clean, modern, many choices on the included breakfast including eggs to order, the A/C is cold, the mini bar complimentary, and on the lower side of price for this city. But the best thing is the staff!!!
I have stayed in about forty hotels in the last six months and the staff here is as helpful and friendly as any.
I arrived late at night after traveling for almost two days without sleep and about at the end of my rope. Nic checked me in, found me a sandwich, as I had not eaten, was so welcoming. I had a great first impression.
During my stay Arnes helped me a dozen times. Understand the bus lines, recommending food and things to see. Zan did the same each morning as I headed out. I hope their management understands how far this goes with foreign tourists out of their comfort zone. The rest of the staff, kitchen, housekeeping were also good I just didn’t get any names. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I would tell other travelers that the location is about a 20 min bus ride to city center. This is not a big problem as the number 1 bus stops right in front of the hotel and only cost 1.30 euros. This is not a property you can walk to town, in spite of Ljubljana being a relatively small city.

Nox Hotel is an absolute gem! This boutique hotel offers a truly exceptional experience, starting with its uniquely designed rooms that are both stylish and comfortable. Every detail is thoughtfully curated, making each stay feel special and personalized. The cleanliness is impeccable, and you can tell the staff takes great pride in maintaining the highest standards. Speaking of the staff, they are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going above and beyond to ensure guests feel at home.
Special thanks to the young lady her name starts with S she was amazing.

One of the best hotels we went to, for sure on a scale of value to money. the location is very good for people renting a car, close to the city but also close to the highway to/from the airport and to/from tours up north (to Bled for example).
The front desk service was perfect, especially the lady from Serbia (I forgot her name) who made all efforts to promote Slovenia. the room was well cleaned and maintained. although it is next to a busy road, we heard nothing. a big supermarket right near the hotel, and also a BBQ restaurant and a petrol station.
Breakfast was very good and also the free drinks we received in our minibar were a nice bonus.
Each room has its own design. we got the "coffee room". To summarize: we highly recommend.

It's a shame that with how kind they were at the reception and at breakfast, I was "given" such a bad room.

I didn't like the room at all, extremely uncomfortable. I will detail it:

The room has two heights, the bed is "raised" on a kind of wide step. It means that when you go to the bathroom you have to take a step and go down the step around the bed, which makes it dangerous, and even more so at night, simply because it is something unusual and you don't see it. I don't understand how they could design a room like that.

On the other hand, the bathroom wall is made of glass which means you lack privacy since from the room you can see "everything", absolutely everything that happens in the bathroom. If you turn on the light in the bathroom, and since the wall is made of glass, the room lights up. In short, a design disaster.

To top it off, the mattress is very uncomfortable.

The breakfast, a buffet, is not very varied but it is quite good, and the people who serve it are very friendly. A ten for the waitress from whom I ordered a fresh orange juice and a French omelet. All very good.

If all the hotel rooms are the same I would not return.

The Hotel Nox in Ljubljana does not live up to its portrayal on their website and the room was suffocatingly hot. We barely slept.

The company presents its hotel as a designer 4-star boutique but it is more like a 2 or 3-star roadside motel. Definitely not worth the 150 euros / night charged.

More fundamentally, we could not sleep because the hotel is apparently too cheap to turn on the AC “between seasons” (even though the front desk told us what was obvious: “the entire hotel is hot”). The young man at the front desk tried to be helpful but could not figure out how to open our room window more than a crack, and he had no other solutions at midnight (not even a fan). He said he’d ask the manager for a discount in the morning (let’s see) but that won’t compensate for a sleepless night.

There are many better options in Ljubljana.— including near the airport if that’s your objective.

Very friendly staff.
Clean and very large rooms although there is a lack of more light in the bathroom.
Perfect breakfast.
It is 10 m by car or taxi from the center.
A taxi charges you €12 to take you to the center.
Very good quality/price ratio.
Free parking

Excellent location with the possibility, for those arriving by car, of free parking. It is located a few kilometers from the center and can be reached in about 10 minutes by car. Within walking distance, a Lidl supermarket can always be useful for last minute needs and a refueling. Excellent breakfast and remember that in addition to the self-service breakfast you can also take advantage of the à la carte breakfast (menu on the table).

Fabulous hotel. Fabulous service. I stayed in the Big Moose room and enjoyed every second. Understated elegance. The huge tub was too inviting to pass up and the bubble bath was even provided. Also the heated floor in the bathroom was a delight.

We booked this hotel on advice for a short city trip in transit to Croatia.
A fantastic 4* hotel. Every room is different and that's really nice. The owners are interior designers and you can see that in detail (even the logo is in the ventilation grille). The people are super friendly and really attentive to the guest. We arrived at the bar just after 22:30 to have a drink. Apparently, the bar was already closed at 10:30 p.m. The employee of the bar was already free and enjoying a drink himself. She got up immediately to provide us with a drink (in her spare time). Super welcoming!
Our first room had problems with the air conditioning. After reporting we were immediately rebooked to another larger room (upgrade).
We have received good food tips from the lady from the reception.
The hotel is just half an hour from downtown. Directly in front of the hotel is a bus stop where a bus leaves every 15 minutes towards the center (lines 1 and 25) (1.30 euros pp)Fine to do 👍

I just went to a lounge bar for a coffee. Interior it's very cozy and the little muffin cake that comes with coffee, was a sweet suprise. Stuff is very profesional and polite. I recommend to visit Nox Hotel.

It depends what your reservation says when you book with the third party. We booked through Booking and we got breakfast included. Sometimes you have options to book room with or without breakfast, and of course the rate would be different. Hope this helps...
