Excellent location at the edge of the old Ljubljana town. Everything is acessible within walking distance. Hotel offers good value for money. Staff is nice and kind. Access with car is available 100 m from hotel without need to enter old town area.
The hotel ambiance and treatment from people who work there make you feel like royalty. The location is not good unless you love walking. You have to walk 15 min to restaurants and take a taxi to the castle. But…I felt like a princess and was treated like one although the pictures are tooooo good. It is beautiful but the photographer really outdid themselves to the injustice of the hotel I believe. I’m in real estate photography and our clients will say “make it look it’s BEST but we don’t want people disappointed when they arrive”. I recommend this hotel if you want enough room to practice your Waltz in your own Foyer (which I did) and it was truly wonderful. The view is elegant as well. I usually don’t use that term to describe a view but it works here. Breakfast was astonishing. Best I’ve ever had.…
This is a lively little hotel in a townhouse style building, right in old town. It’s easy to access from the train station and it’s on the edge of the old town so everything is a short walk away. In one direction you can walk up to the castle or the other, into old town itself. Staff a friendly and helpful, rooms are comfortable & clean and the breakfast is a great bonus too!
Helpful and attentive staff. She navigated us to the hotel's parking through a phone call quite seamlessly. Perfect location, just at the doorstep of the historic district as well as the castle. We were allowed to check in at 12:00! Well organized and nice breakfast. We did have the attic room. While the double bed was OK, our boys were complaining their single beds located in a low niche made them feel somewhat uncomfortable - that is an individual opinion though, we were aware of the room set up prior to booking.
In the old town. City is so small that nothing was too far away. Nice staff. Room was basic but clean and all we needed for our few days. Breakfast was included and they offered a good variety. If you are looking for luxury then not for you but as a base to explore the city I would recommend
We stayed 3 nights in Room 203....and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was a good size, had a sofa, table and two chairs. There is a nice size wardrobe with a good amount of hanging space (with lots of hangers) and a couple of drawers.....so all perfectly adequate. Reception staff were fantastic and breakfast was excellent. Tea and coffee was available all day.....nice to come back to after a chilly day spent sightseeing. Thoroughly recommended!
Very nice place. I can recommend for its nice rooms, its exceptional breakfast, its friendly staff and its great location in the centre. Hoping to be back again sometimes soon. What more can I say, I don't know.
Hotel Adora is on the outskirts of the pedestrian only section of Ljubljana. Rooms were very clean with modern amenities. The beds were a little hard but tolerable. They have a nice breakfast in the morning with the usual croissants, breads, and coffees, along with made to order eggs. They have a really nice Staff that goes out of their way to help. The hotel is at the base of one of the trails going up to Ljubljana Castle if you want to make the 15 - 20 minute climb for the beautiful views. Ljubljana is a beautiful small city with a vibrant restaurant, bar, museum, and shopping scene all moderately priced. Parking at Hotel Adora can be a challenge at first. We slipped into a handicap spot in the convenience store close by (left someone in the car) and ran over to ask where to park. A slight inconvenience but no big deal! A good and reasdonably priced place to stay!…
Stayed here for 2 nights. Approx. 10-15 min walk from the main station & close to all major sites, Adora Hotel offered some 10 rooms, with nice personal touches (such as free coffee and drink). The staff members were young and generally attentive, although some of them were less friendlier or inexperienced with hotel business than others. When I got into my room, cleaning was half-finished, and I was often struggling to open and close the room door. But they quickly sorted it out. The room I got was large and not terribly noisy, although some fellow travellers commented on the street noise. The lift was slow to move, but I did not use it often, thus not a real problem for me. Breakfast was good. The room rate could be cheaper, given some limited facilities, but Ljubljana was an expensive place to stay. Would consider Adora Hotel again.…
A hotel on the edge of Ljubljana old town, this small 3 star hotel goes out of it's way to be welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble, the hotel is meticulously neat and clean and the breakfasts were both ample and very well prepared. Would definitely recommend for a short break in this lovely city.
