I booked a room for 2 nights.
I give 3 stars because I had the impression of being in a 3 star hotel, not 4. Starting from the welcome at the reception, cold and with few additional explanations, to the very simple room, up to the not very abundant and varied breakfast, with not quality but packaged products.
The room is still nice and comfortable but has some defects: lack of power sockets in the bathroom, bidet, too dim light, mini bar present but empty (why put it?). The complimentary bottle of wine was appreciated.
The rooms that have a park view may still be in line with the ecological theme that the hotel wants to show but the parking ones seem out of context. From the photos it seems to be in an area surrounded by greenery, in reality it is an industrial area surrounded by various buildings with various types of services.
It's fine to have the breakfast area separate from the rooms as it is communicated beforehand in the booking, but the reserved part is not suitable for a breakfast room in a 4-star hotel.
Apart from the food, the service is also nil (you have to clear the table yourself).
On the buffet there are unlabelled products, little variety (2 brioches), packaged products. They put bread and cold cuts but there is no machine to make toast.
Breakfast is what disappointed us the most!
In favor of the service of the bikes, modern and well maintained. Being outside the centre, thanks to bikes you can reach it in about 20 minutes via a cycle path that runs along the entire road.
(Maybe there are few?! - we haven't seen the children's ones).

Superb hotel outside the city center
This hotel offers modern rooms with balconies.
A very good welcome, possibility to have bicycles for free to go to the center of the city because the Hotel is quite eccentric.
We opted for a taxi for a price of 8€. So if you do not want to use the bikes at your disposal the taxi is an inexpensive solution.
At the level of breakfast we had on the terrace, this is a bit right. Not much choice but enough before you hit the road.
We were treated to a bottle of wine as a gift in the room, and I want to thank the staff for their kindness and profession

With a group of 13 cycle tourists we stayed in this B. & B., beautiful with good services, well managed. The location compared to the city center is slightly decentralized on the outskirts. There aren't many parking spaces. Quiet and with surrounding greenery. There are no nice restaurants nearby and the one recommended by the reception is not to be recommended, it is modest and poorly managed.

Stayed here for two nights , lovely clean hotel , would definitely book here again so very surprised when I walked into the room. free bikes to use so you can cycle into the old town in 25 min . Breakfast was good and the staff are very friendly.. huge gym that you have the use of while you are there and also free parking..

I was thinking that I only need a place to stay while breaking-down my trip back home from Italy, so the most important "attribute" for it was not to spend too much time driving in the city, to be close to the highway and, at the same time, to the city center.
And Wud is perfectly located. If you do not need to spend too much time finding it, if you do not have too much time to find a parking place, if you need to rest and you are looking for a quiet area. From my window I could literally see the mountains (or hills) even if the room was on the ground floor.
The room was absolutely clean, big and comfortable. Good lights, good beds and pillows, good taste everywhere. The bathroom (shower room) is actually integrated in the room, only the toilet has a space of its own. Nice TV set, Philips Ambilight.
Good breakfast, excellent coffee machine and coffee, very nice people at the reception desk.
100% recommend this hotel if you need to rest one night in Ljubljana. But not only for that, I think it's a good place to choose even for a city break. I'll stay there for sure next time.

This seems like a new hotel with lots of things to get worked out. Had to program the TV and the front desk had no idea how to help. They said they could send someone up the next day but we were not going to spend the whole day in our hotel waiting. Never did get set up. Location is not ideal - not really walking distance from the old town. I will say that the breakfast buffet was good but I "Wud" not stay here again.

I visited WUD hotel in a business trip. Smart choice for accomodation with a good price for Ljubliana. Sport center in the same location with bowling, fitness&gym big facility. Generous parking place and very nice and helpful front office ladies. Rooms with balcony available in the new building of the hotel.

Check-in simple and reception staff friendly and helpful. Hotel really modern and clean. Room nice - beds v comfy and WIFI good. Balcony nice. Bathroom stunning - really spacious!
Air con was rubbish.
Location is about 15min drive outside of Ljubljana - reception arranged taxis for us each time and they cost about 10 euros each way.

Very nice. The hotel was very clean, we had a very pretty room, the bathroom was very beautiful. We had a terrace that was very to sit there and watch people go by. We had parking spot and the food at breakfast was good, they even had vegan options. Totally recommend

I booked this hotel. I arrived at 2.30 am after a difficult and long day of flight delays. I did not get to check my messages.
I got to this hotel to find no reception opened. I checked my messages and found a message to go to another hotel to get keys, and instructions.
I am a world wide traveller and the first time this has ever happened to me.
I followed the instructiins to the T. Huge sign with WUD hotel outside so i went in to the first floor the keys did not work. I ended up waking up other guests who very kindly tried to help me. We tried to call all numbers for this hotel that were given no answers.
We ended up leaving to the Grand plaza we had to get a taxi to the Grand Plaza great hotel by the way.
Next day i called the hotel to be told I was in the wrong hotel and they never got any calls despite admitting they seen me on camera making calls.
The worst part they charged me a cancellation fee for locking me out despite my specific request not to touch my account. Despite me being very firm that no money be taken from my card.
PLEASE PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS. I have travelled the world and never experienced anything like this. Steer well clear of this hotel.

Dear mayojocee, again, we are sorry for the inconvenience. We would rather see a different outcome where you could enter the room that was booked for you. There obviously was a misunderstanding and after checking the cameras it was clear that you ended up in the building next door, which explains why the room could not be opened. We checked the door of the room 114 in WUD hotel, which we booked for you and the key opened it immediately. Something that I cannot explain is why I did not received any phone call as I was on duty. I checked the phone too. I tried to call my phone from different numbers and it worked. We received your messages and a phone call the next day. We consider the communication with insults and threats to our hotel and our staff unacceptable, as our working environment need a safe working space for our staff.
