Our stay at Farm Kosir could not have been more wonderful. The owners were extremely kind and helpful to give any advice. They also took their time to chat and recommend activities we might enjoy and give their personal stories. Gabriela served us a delicious breakfast every day. We loved it so much! One more reason to come back. So many delicious homemade products from their own garden. The yogurt and cheese came from a local dairy and was the best yogurt I've ever had in my life. Additionally, we always had bread, cold cuts, homemade jams, and garden fresh cucumbers. We had plum cake one morning! Gabriela sat down with us while we ate and took time out of her day to chat and recommend activities we might enjoy. We will definitively come be back, and we will stay at Farm Kosir! Best choice!…
Our stay at Farm Kosir could not have been more wonderful. There's plenty of parking, and upon arrival Gabriela met us outside. The farm has been in her husband's family since the early 1900s, and is a completely family-run operation. The woodwork and furniture in the breakfast room was made by Ales from wood he cut from his own property. The rooms are SPOTLESS--Gabriela used to be an OR nurse, and her attention to detail carries over in how she runs the farm. Breakfast every morning was amazing. Plums were in season while we were there, and we had plum cake one morning! She also served us a delicious vanilla rhubarb compote made from home-grown rhubarb. The yogurt came from a local dairy and was the best yogurt I've ever had in my life. Additionally we always had bread, cheese, cold cuts, homemade jams, and garden fresh cucumbers. Gabriela sat down with us while we ate and took time out of her day to chat and recommend activities we might enjoy. Their daughter Vera introduced me to their chickens, cats, and rabbit. There is free wifi and they even provided us with a fridge to keep drinks cold in the room upon request! Kranjska Gora is a lovely, peaceful little town, and everything we needed was within walking distance. We will be back, and we will stay at Farm Kosir!…
We booked an apartment there on booking.com for two adult and two child with breakfast. Two months before the travel we spoke on the phone and I asked them if we have to pay the full price for our kids because they are one and three years old. Gabriela the housewoman said its enough to talk about it when we are there. Its okay!-I said. But on the last day there we had to pay full price for both of our kids,(40 euros each for four breakfast)Meanwhile two out of four breakfast they took just a glass of milk,on the rest of the days a couple of rolls more. When i asked her about it she said i have to pay full price because i booked for four adults(its not true)and she have to give all of the money for booking.com(!!!???)so its not possible to have a discount for the kids.Even if all around the world you pay half price for children.By the way the coffe was weak, the breakfast was poor and they are not flexible for guests, they just want to get the money. Not recommended.…
The Kosir family have two beautiful houses in a very typical mountain architectural style with decorated balconies, lace curtains and traditional furniture. However, they are the ones who make this place so very special - they are both hard workers on their farm and in growing vegetables plus creating breads and jam etc for their guests. We have known them over ten years and they cannot do enough for us as guests. We are honoured to know them and their family. The rooms vary in size but they all have ensuites and there is an excellent family apartment. A very unique place to stay.
