Right at the bottom of a ski slope, which is the starting point for all the Kranjska Gora trails, you will find Ramada Resort Kranjska Gora, totally renovated two years ago. Its nicely furnished rooms with their view of the slopes are a promise of a cosy and beautiful holiday, whereas bathing in the water park offering a panoramic view of the surrounding snow-covered slopes is an unforgettable experience, especially in winter. The hotel is only 100 metres away from the centre of Kranjska Gora and its 118 four-star rooms provide everything you need for a relaxing break (shower/ WC, cable TV and radio, mini bar, direct phone line). The beds can be separate and most rooms have a balcony.

Detailed Reviews
The Ramada is on a great location, directly on ski slopes which is a big plus. However, breakfast is average at best, and service st reception was ok but also very confusing since they lost one of our reservations - it took 30 min to fix.
The rooms towards the ski slopes have an anazing view, but all else should be rennovated from the rooms to the lobby and the pools. For the price you pay it is below expectations.
They do have a charger fir EV cars and a good parking which is a plus.
All together not worth the price in the winter.

Good location, in the middle of Kranjska Gora, close to the chairlift, near the ski slopes. We had a room with mountain view, the view was truly fabulous, it worth the money. Good breakfast and dinner, big variety of food. Good spa area, inside swimming pools and jacuzzi. Free parking, which is rare in Kranjska Gora. Nice amiable staff. A little bit expensive, but definitely a good hotel,
5 Euros for using their bathrobes is a joke, I never encountered this policy in any hotel I stayed so far. You give the guest a bathrobe to use or you don't, decide what.

Nice hotel in a great location. Can't understand why they keep turning the hot water supply to the room, on and off, at different times of the day. Very annoying!
For a 4 star hotel, one expects to find some means of adjusting the room's ambient temperature, these days.

I don't know how in the world this hotel gets its 4 stars! In terms of room facility and service it's worse than a 2 star hotel. The rooms are not renewed since the 70s I guess. The shower is leaking so you will find the mini sized bathroom flooded after shower. We asked 5 times for a baby cot before we get one tiny cot about 1m long. It's so small that our 2 year old doesn't fit inside so we are charged 10€ for nothing. No AC in the room and it's 32 degrees outside so imagine the heat in the room! The swimming pool is the only nice thing about this hotel but bath robes and pool towels are not free! First time I see a 4 star hotel charge for this kind of trivial service! More than 200€/nights it's really a joke!! We stayed in 4 star hotels everywhere we go in Slovenia and this hotel is really the WORST! Horrible hotel I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here

This hotel is on the slope which means that it is one of the few places in Kranjska Gora where you do no need to carry your ski equipment which gives it best possible advantage. Food is really good with many variations (meat, pasta, fish, vegetable etc) The pool is maybe the best place of this hotel it is very large with separate deifferent connecting pools plus children area and jacuzzi. Hotel also has spa but with additional cost. The only thing that is not for 5 stars rating are the rooms which are small but who needs rooms when on skiing. The town Kranjska Gora is beautiful plus its position is great because you can ski in Slovenia have dinner in Italy or Austria (30 minutes away) and vice versa. Really great experience. We will be for sure cooming back.

We stayed at this hotel for our end of year vacation along with other friends. It was the perfect solution as it's located right at the beginning (or end) of the slopes with a fantastic view on the mountains and the ski area. There is a very good spa with swimming pool which is accessible for free for all hotel gusts. Food both at fastback and dinner was excellent, with so much choice for all tastes. As we drove by car, we took advantage of the free parking space of the hotel. This is the absolutely perfect location for skiers, with ski schools in from of the hotel, a ski-room inside the building to store the equipment and so many places to have food. Truly recommended, probably the best spot in Kranjska Gora.

Room very expensive - 450 eur/nighr. For that price you get very poor room. Windows not sealing properly. Doors not sealing properly. Very dark room. Not enough lights in room. Bathtub very small, water flushes out because bathtub not sealed properly, mirror broken in the bathroom and siliconed back together. Sofa small unconformable and dirty. Heating low, cold in room. Even when radiator on maximumm Room should have 4 beds in stead it were only 3 and a couch. Old furniture. Picture of the room on the website misleading. Due to picture of the room and the price have expecting more than you actually get.
Staff is good, very friendly.
Pool is good, nice view from the pool on the ski resort.
Food (breakfast) is good, tasty, diverse.

Let me start off with the positive and the sole reason for that "extra" star. It will be a short list, so here it goes: The hotel lies right next to the ski slope. If the only (and I do mean only) thing you care about is getting up and going skiing right away, you may consider this as your potential part-time residence.
Anything else, move along, there have to be better options.
Upon arriving we waited for almost 10 minutes in front of an empty desk. Not even that, there were two gentlemen fiddling with a printer without even acknowledging us. A simple sorry, it will be a minute would more than suffice. We spent that time looking around and realizing that the whole place was pretty outdated and poorly managed. When we finally came to our room, it was much smaller than advertised. It had only the bare minimum that a hotel ought to have. And it was hot, unbearably hot (26°C on the baby monitor). Upon complaining I stood in line behind a lady complaining that her room was too cold. We both got an explanation that everything was centrally controlled. And no, opening the window could not solve the problem in tle long run since it was -5°C outside.
Next in line in this highway robbery were the bathrobes which were 5€ "per use" and the towels for the pool were 2€ for hotel guests paying 200€+ a night! On the subject of the pool (which was a huge draw for our family since we have a baby that loves to swim), the water was cold. Not by the baby criteria cold but cold as 90% of all the pool-goers crammed in one hot tub suited for 10 people. The air was of similar temperature which made a lengthy stay unbearable. Moving on to the food, it was subpar and repetitive. The staff seems fed up and could be described as nice in 1/3 of cases (and I am being generous here).
Thankfully we used a hotel just for a starting point for outdoor activities and the weather was nice, so there was no reason to spend any additional time inside. If we had to, we would probably call it a done deal after the first night.
The checkout process was the epitome of the whole experience. We waited in line for 30 (!) minutes watching three people operating two computers and all relying on the one competent member of the staff.
Let me emphasize that this criticism is written with the cost and the star count in mind (which are both too high). If it were a 3 star hotel for a third of the price, I would accept everything as a compromise.
We love Kranjska Gora and will continue to visit, but Ramada will only remain as a teaching moment.
Avoid!

We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel stuff is very polite and helpful (explained everything at the check in and was available during our our stay at all time). Big plus to Breakfast (big variety), hotel parking (you do need to search and pay extra for parking) as well as possibility to use hotel swimming pool on the day when you are leaving. What could be improved - renovation of hotel (it was high class hotel 40 years ago, but now it needs full renovation). It would be nice that hotel has also outside pool - we were staying at the time when outside temperatures were really high, so it would be great to take a swim outside. If we will have a chance to visit Kranjska gora again, we wouldn't mind to stay here again!
