You're here because you want to ski. The ski lifts and ski schools are across the street and there are only 2 big hotels in this small resort. So this review is not so much to help you choose but to tell you what to expect. On the plus side are the proximity to the slopes and the free parking. The hotel is clean and the accommodation is spartan and functional. The younger reception staff are on the whole courteous, knowledgeable and helpful but the manager is downright rude. On the downside, the family rooms are a bit tight especially since there are not many other places to relax, the room temperature cannot be changed and the bathrooms do not ventilate well. You want to call down to reception? Sorry, no room phone! There is a 20m indoor pool, a kids' pool and a warm tub but they all close down at 7pm, which is a shame since there's not a lot to do here in the evening. There are lockers in the basement for your ski equipment but no elevator to get down there. Food is average hotel buffet fare. Considering the room tariff, the hotel is not good value for money.

The hotel is located in the town center and close to skiing slopes. There was enough available parking. The hotel room is spacious with a balcony. The bed is very comfortable. Self-service breakfast has lots of choices for everyone. There is a ski and ski boots storage in the basement, but you need to pay 10Euros for the key, which is returned at the end.

Disliked · There were no toiletries in the bathroom, except shower gel. We had to pay 5 Euro for the usage of each bathrobe. The swimming pool was full of kids screaming and impossible to use. The spa area is poorly designed and they charge extra 12 Euros per guest.
There are two single beds in the room instead of a double bed, also there are 2 small duvets, instead of a double one. The cleaners knocked at the door for cleaning at 8.45 am, a bit early for holidays, even if you go skiing.
There is no water in the fridge.

A lovely hotel in Kranjska Kora. Rooms were a good size and comfortable. No kettles are provided in rooms so either bring your own or ask at reception for a kettle.

The bar area is lovely with a proper fire on the go. Drinks are a bit expensive.

The food at the hotel was served buffet style - the food was ok

Hotel to avoid for a long stay as a couple because it is very mainly frequented by groups brought by tour operators and just as noisy each whether they are old talkative English ladies or bikers on a ride. The restaurant looks like a canteen and the meals served are mediocre and repetitive.
The rooms although renovated are outdated and especially the bathrooms with very insufficient lighting. It is the same for the lighting spots of the bedsides whose supports are also broken.
Room cleaning is superficial and fluctuating.
The room service is efficient.
The only highlight of this hotel is its location with mountain views for the rooms located at the back. In summary this hotel is not at the level of a French 4 star and even less of the Italian Tyrol.

I had an almost perfect stay but scoring low just to highlight this issue… the pool/spa area lady was incredibly cheeky and rude. On my first day she came out of her dock and stopped me just before getting into jacuzzi telling me that I should shower before getting in which I thought was reasonable even though I showered beforehand in my room. She didn’t reprimand anyone else apart from me mind! Then she watched my every move (surely should be watching the pool). Another day I was in the gym and went to refill my water bottle in the spa area, I could already see her watching me, she told me I was not allowed to refill my water there even though it is open to all guests. When I answered something she mocked me with “oh oh” as I was walking off. Second time, she specifically came out of her dock and stood in the doorway with her arms crossed watching me refill it and intimidating my personal space! Surely if it is that much of an issue there should be water and cups provided in the gym?? When I complained to the manager I was told that gym users should use tap water to refill bottles. So you expect me to run up and down from the gym (basement) to my room (2nd floor) to refill my bottle in between sets?? Because I ain’t filling it up in the communal toilet. Anyway the pool lady acted as if it was her personal water or diamonds that I was refilling my bottle with. I could not believe it and her mocking me, shocking!

This hotel charged 110€ per night to a guest who was only in a room with only breakfast. This while other guests were allowed to stay for 90 € in half board. Everything booked through the same site and the same time but the hotel does not look at this, only payment is important. Very rude people at the reception with no understanding. Nor was a solution sought. Only profit is important here, not customer satisfaction.

A very much appreciated stay for one night as I was passing through Slovenia. The hotel is beautifully located with a stunning view over the mountains from whichever room you have. The staff is guest minded and very helpful. The foajé is inviting, it has a bar and plenty of meeting spots. The dining room is light and spacious and the breakfast is excellent. There is protected parking outside the entrance, as well as a garage that provides charging for electric vehicles. Can indeed be recommended.

Excellent breakfast, good swimming pool. Spacious room, bathroom. Nice view of the mountains. Helpful staff. There were many guests due to the Easter holidays, but there was no problem with breakfast and other services. Nice walking tours in mountains, near to Itali Tarvisio.

In a 4 star Hotel I would expect higher level of services. The food selection are under average (just one toosalted soup was offered at lunch). Swimming pool should be opened earlier, and closed later (not from 10.00 till 7.00). The room should have balconys, etc.

Located at the ski slopes and close to the town centre this hotel offers a good starting point for several sports activities around, including hiking or bike tours to the Triglav NP. Rooms are comfortable and practically arranged. The spa was crowded as was the restaurant at dinner times.
