Very friendly and welcoming staff, great location and well equipment camp site with all the facilities you need (showers, toilets, kitchen, fridges, power, fire, lights etc.). Staying here as part of a bigger trip, we were very unprepared for camping, however the camp was so well equipped we still had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. We had a 2 person lean to which we found to be very comfortable with a proper bed and warm bedding. We booked our activities through the camp site which was easy and hassle free. We really enjoyed the rafting and zip lining, highly recommended both!
The host at the reception was not friendly. One day we went to the reception to ask something and he was eating pizza with his colleagues in a corner near the reception. He shouted with his mouth full op pizza: we have lunch! come back later! He didn't notice that there was someone to help us and that I wanted to ask my question at that person. I was completely shocked and it was difficult to forget this, although the camp space was great, clean and also the outdoor kitchen very cosy. They offered one night a meal and we subscribed. While he was giving us our meals, he didn"t say anything, he just put it in front of our faces. I didn't have a very nature feeling because you here constantly the cars driven by at te street while you are in your tent.
Excellent location to escape from day-to-day, get close to stunning nature and enjoy the basics. Katia and Matic are great hosts, creating a truly warm and friendly environment. We had all activities perfectly organised, adjusted to our pace. Great place to recharge!
We did the canoeing trip in the mountains - it was a fantastic tour. The guide was very friendly, he explained a lot. Driving the boat in the caves was a really cool experience - including a ride with the old train.
The location is alright, even from the point of view of someone there by foot, as long as you're there to see the surrounding nature. Destinations further out can take some tedious bussing, so I would still recommend coming with a car. The camp is fairly close to a moderately busy road which is audible especially at night, but it didn't bother us. The facilities were above average for a camp - the toilets were well mantained, there's a full kitched with cutlery, plates, stoves and a fridge, a common dining area and some extras mostly aimed at kids. We liked the occasional communal uses of the fireplace in the common eating area. The tent-house was cosy and clean, and the camp was calm enough for us. We might return to this camp in the future if we want to visit the Soča area again.…
