Detailed Reviews
I have been to bled many times over the years and this was my first time at this hotel. When we arrived we received a very warm welcome and we decided to upgrade to a lakeside view which I so glad we did we had three rooms and they put us all together and we could check in to our room straight away which was good after our very early start. The first night we had our evening meal in the hotel the service was very good and there was a variety of food. We had breakfast each morning and we always received a warm welcome again good selection of food and even champagne. We use the swimming pool at the hotel everyday it was very clean lovely beds to lay on and relax after a walk around the beautiful lake, If you needed a drink you just pressed a buzzer and they came straight away. We also had a treatment at the spa I would highly recommendthis. So overall the team in all areas of the hotel were very professional helpful and polite. Good selection of food and drinks. Rooms very clean bed so comfy and great bathrooms decor amazing. Would I return and recommend to friends 100%. Thank you for looking after us all so well.

Just a few steps away from the beautiful Lake, lies even more beautiful hotel.
Each room has a balcony which is a must for me. Rooms are stylish and spacious ( We took superior room)
Me and my girlfriends enjoyed rich breakfast selection and a fine selection of Gin cocktails drinking at evenings outside on the hotel garden with a nice camp fire. Was really cosy <3
Hotel has so many beautiful spots to take pictures and the friendly staff takes a picture of you with nothing but smile :)
We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again <3

As part of a Tour Group,my wife & I spent our first Christmas away from home at the Bled Rose Hotel. Anticipation was high, reality, totally disappointing apart from the friends we made within the a Group
The hotel reopened mid 2019,following refurbishment, has a pleasant location and whilst the public areas are bright and modern with many attractive Christmas decorations,it has only one small lift,& the majority of rooms are very small with totally inadequate storage. The dining room is large with pleasant views but contains the only bar,so with 3 groups staying there,& arriving for dinner at 19.00 the queue/wait for drinks was unacceptable! There were generally only a max of 3 staff covering the bar,who were excellent.friendly and hard working & doing their best, but in their spare time had to clear dining tables— there were no other staff to do that! During our 8 nights there I was unaware of any Management presence/ interest!
The food was pretty average, barely warm & infrequently refreshed: very much when it’s gone its gone!
Although it was Christmas, the only entertainment was a young lady playing a key-board during dinner on 1 night only!
I would describe the hotel as a 2/3 star budget hotel with inadequate staff numbers, charging excessive prices. I do however feel it has potential with significant changes, but as it is at present, I would not recommend it to anyone.

I stayed at the hotel over the Christmas period with a travel group.
The hotel is exceptionally bright, modern and clean but unfortunately service is reminiscent of the 1980s socialist era. This was particularly evident in the restaurant. For meals I quickly learned to arrive early otherwise the choice of food diminished greatly. On the first morning of my stay the scrambled eggs had run out and I asked for some more. I waited patiently but they never arrived. That evening the vegetables ran out quickly and were not replenished. In the morning and in the evening the few members of waiting staff on duty were working very hard and were running around doing everything. For my evening meal I often could not find anyone to get me a carafe of water so I just went and filled one myself at the bar.
From my observations the senior management have not yet grasped the importance of a having a well- trained staff in sufficent numbers to provide good customer service. At the moment there is a "let them eat cake attitude" which would be mildly amusing if they weren't charging 4 star prices.
With improved management this newly renovated hotel has great potential as it is a lovely location.

The hotel from the outside looks very outdated but has been nicely renovated indoors. When checking in staff seemed very nice but sadly we ended up having one of the worst hotel stays of our lives..
The outdoor jacuzzi was lukewarm if that (we called to ask if it was hot before booking the hotel), after we got out of it we were told that we cannot have dinner. We checked in at 7pm and nobody bothered to mention that a 4 star hotel only serves dinner till 9pm and has no room service at all throughout the night.
We would have put up with all that if it wasn't for 3 massive parties going on inside the hotel that night (in the middle of the pandemic). On top of that about 10 girls next door were doing drugs in their room but when we went down to the reception around 4am nobody seemed to care. We were told that we can check out (there and then!) and get our money back but if we stayed we'll be paying full price. About four hours later, after over an hours long conversation with one of the managers we got 20% discount which we thought was an absolute joke. We had a 10 hour drive back home that day which after a sleepless night was that much more difficult.
Anyways we were told that the general manager will email us the next day but here we are 4 months later and still have not heard anything.

...and this is especially true at the Bled Rose Hotel. There is no good cup of coffee here. What’s even more disappointing is the service we received around this.
We had breakfast in the restaurant included with our room rate and ordered cappuccino’s. They were awful. The machine that makes them must use powdered milk and coffee as both cups had a gritty residue at the bottom of the cups and had a sweetish artificial taste to them.
Not wanting a second cappuccino, I ordered a coffee with cream but there was some confusion with the waitress and she replied asking if I meant a double espresso with cream. I said said yes just to make things easy. She brought a double espresso topped with whipped cream and then asked if I wanted to have it charged to the room or pay here. I was a little taken aback as I thought it was included in the breakfast so said to have it charged to the room. She went away to get the bill and I thought it was odd that this wasn’t included as it’s clearly from the same machine that the cappuccino is from. When she came back I signed for the coffee not wanting to argue about it. In retrospect I should have refused the espresso at this time when she asked how I wanted to pay for it, but this seemed too harsh. I figured it might at least taste better. It didn’t. It was clearly from the same machine as it tasted just as bad. I wouldn’t have minded paying the 5€ had it been better but it wasn’t. I decided to deal with it at check-out when I assumed they would ask how our stay was. We complained about the coffee at reception, and they called the restaurant and said the charge stands as we ordered it. Fine. We paid the bill. But it was offensive that I wasn’t told in advance that the espresso would incur an additional cost, especially as it comes from the same machine. It was further disappointing upon check-out and they inquired about the enjoyment of our stay, and when we mentioned our dissatisfaction that their inquiry was merely an insincere platitude as opposed to really being concerned about our experience and wanting us to enjoy our stay.
It wasn’t just the coffee that left a bad taste in our mouths, but the disappointing customer service as well. We will be looking for another place to stay on our return trips to Lake Bled in the future.

Excellent venue with caring staff and an unbelievably rich breakfast experience. The room 216 is spacious and silent. No view of the lake though. The varanda lights stay on until after 10PM commanded by AI. The guest can not turn them off, and the staff have no power over it. Also the varanda blinds are closed controlled remotely by the reception. Why? If you sit on the varanda at night, you are an illuminated specimen.

The hotel is new and modern, in an excellent location, overlooking the lake. The room was small but the bed was extraordinarily comfortable. The bathroom is also very small and there is a problem of half-protected shower cabin from which water simply must go out. The wellness center could benefit from more resting space, and steam sauna should be fixed - the floor is scorching hot, but the temperature in the room is barely lukewarm. At breakfast there was quite a spectacular choice of food. The only thing missing are freshly squeezed juices. All in all nice and comfy. The quite low rate I’m giving is due to the unpleasant surprise in form of a SNAKE exhibited in the breakfast room at breakfast time. I can understand new concepts, I love animals, i support the idea that getting to know some animals might reduce the fear or animosity. Bu i DON’t support being forced to face my worst fear without any warning, at hotel breakfast. I really don’t find it amusing. If I knew about this original way that this hotel uses to entertain its guests I wouldn’t have gone there even if they offered me to stay there for free, let alone paying for it.

The whole experience in the hotel was superb from the minute we walked in. Kind staff at the reception made us feel welcome immediately. Beautifully designed and furnished room, delicious breakfast and helpful staff in the restaurant really impressed us.
We also rented hotel bikes and picnic basket full of delicious dishes and snacks, which made us enjoy our experience in Bled even more.
We’ll definitely return.
